You can continue to heap praises on Sachin, Dhoni, Virat but there would never be another man who was as passionate and bold than this man. When he speaks, the love that he has for the game , for his country and for his fellow players, oozes out in every single word. There is a reason why I cried more on his retirement than on Sachin, MSD or Dravid's.
I'm a diehard MSDian but literally love and respect in my mind for DADA has immensely increased after watching his both episodes on the BWC. Such gem of a person he's! Such a pure soul. The way he speaks about his teammates just reflects how honest man he's.
Bengal have produced so many stars but DADA is the brightest of all. He's a true ambassador of Bengal as well.

Always get emotional when I watch this interview. I remember watching Sachin and Dada as opening pair for India and as long as I remember dada use to score first boundary always with beautiful cover drive. Must read for all Dada Fans or Non Dada Fans. During India England Odi series My mummy asked me a player name I said Shardul Thakur. Then she said wo Sourav Ganguly ke time ke saare players chale gaye. Then I remembered me, my father, mother, sister i.e. my whole family used to watch cricket because Dada had a family not only team. My sister too sometimes remember those days when we all used to watch cricket and have our emotions attached to it. Now it's me and only my father watch it. That's what Dada is for us. Many more stories are there which I will share on this video.
