This episode has transcended podcasting into something that I can't even describe. The editing, music, philosophical discussions, math in music, logic behind freestyle and comedy/anti-comedy mixed into it all - I was constantly smiling and amazed at the same time. This was incredible, Rick.

I love the juxtaposition of caring too much and not caring enough about what people think. Pretty interesting to see two people with opposing mind-sets have a conversation like this. And they’ve both been able to be successful. Kinda makes you realize there’s no wrong way to do it.
Rick is up there as one of the top interviewers ever. He refuses anything but total clarity from his guests (and from himself), has a beautiful sense of timing and pacing, the editing and his vocal cues have me *rolling*, brings a high level of comfort to his guests which translates into topics, tidbits, and stories we’ve never heard in dozens of other interviews with the same person: truly top-notch. One of the few people with a podcast that SHOULD BE podcasting.
Facts! I just found out about this guy from a TH-cam short of him rapping with a girl about John candy lol
He basically sets the bar for what a podcast should be. I never knew I was watching mid till I started watching this podcast.
I came into this podcast as a Harry fan, and never having seen any Rick content/standup before....and I am enthralled by this dude's ability to articulate his questions and harmonize his wavelength with Harry's. Amazing conversation. Definitely gonna be checking out more TYSO!

It's crazy when you think a genre of something has peaked and can't get any better.... then you stumble across something that raises the bar soo high! What an episode! The freestyles were amazing, the conversation was next level and the comedy throughout was *chefs kiss.. bravo! Gonna have to binge watch this channel from the beginning now. I’ve seen Harry on a few podcasts and I’m a HUGE Mack fan, but have never seen or heard ANYONE dive as deep and ask the kind of questions you did Rick! And on top of that, have fun with him and freestyle back and forth?! Amazing pod! Loved it.

This has to be one of the greatest podcast episodes in the history of podcasts. Joyful, genuine, spontaneous, detailed, hilarious. Just two men - a master and acolyte - worshipping at the alter of the art of freestyle.

This is amazing, funny, philosophical, psychological, technical. One of the Best 'interviews' I've ever seen with Harry. That last freestyle was amazing and you can tell the way Ricky was asking questions and digging deep that helped Harry go deep with the rap. And you can tell Harry really enjoyed it and wanted it to continue, like a therapy session or something lol

As a hip-hop head and a guy that used to try and freestyle with friends pretty regularly the ins and outs of what he’s doing in his head during his freestyles was amazing. I’ve never heard anyone actually break it down this detailed. The back and forth freestyle with Rick was fire!
Lmfaooo the part where They play a beat for Harry to demonstrate the cadence entering and he’s like “yea yea this is perfect” and Rick said it was an ad😂 I felt that hard

This was so much fun. Rick queuing the songs for the freestyle responses was one of the best things I've ever seen. Honestly in awe of the creativity, execution, and just straight up silliness but also very honest and informative. Even if you don't particularly like Rick's style, it's undeniable the quality of podcast he makes.
This is one of the most intriguing and entertaining podcasts I have ever seen. I was listening to it last night making dinner and went from having my mind blown, to laughing uncontrollably, to pondering how much of what I do is serving my ego, vs. serving others. I can’t wait to go back and watch these freestyle scenes, thanks for the killer pod, Rick!

I came on behalf of the Mack Mafia, but wow… This was an incredibly enjoyable watch! LOVED the discussion and the freestyles. And Rick, first time watching you, and man, you were a great host. You were accommodating, investigative and even stayed objective & pointed to truly get the answers you were seeking from Mack. Instead of offering layups, you were like the “Good Cop” Vietcong jabbing HMack’s gentle POW torso with the splintered wooden spear, instead of the good ‘ole machete through the neck (quick, but relatively painless), to extract the position of the secret hideout to HMack’s brilliant mind. Playfully brutal, but incredibly entertaining to watch your amazing personality & humor tear back Harry’s layers to his onion to reveal his core. I had several belly laughs watching this that truly displaced my innards. Thank you for that!

Been a fan of Ricks since pretty much day one...my god his podcasting is just on a completely different level. So much originality, and so confident. A creative mind that is destined to be copied, but it won't matter because he's just endlessly creative.

But your unique perspectives instantly broadened the concept of everything for me and that is truly priceless. Thank you. I did quickly want to comment on one thing though. Harry said when he was a kid running around doing impressions trying to be funny and his parents would tell him he's gonna be famous. You responded immediately asking what fame means and meant as a kid. As he spoke of drive and motivation. I just want to point out that their response could have been a million things, if anything. But it wasn't anything else. It was "he's going to be famous" as if it was a predetermined destiny. That's all they said. "You're talented, you've got potential, I love you!" I just want to point out how crucial and extremely rare those words are in the world we live in and how easily they can be overlooked and taken for granted. It was just bypassed so quickly that just in case that was the case I wanted to put it out there. If not, no harm no foul.
