Oh thank you Anne this was very interesting. I ❤ all this kind of stuff. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed Thanksgiving and stay safe my dear friend.🍁💚🦃
Anne you did it it again. Lovely tour... What Christmas should be like.. Simperler times. Looks so cozy and warm.. My eye couldnt it it take it all in. Cute cute shops.. Amazing place.... Happy New Year too you and your family. Blessing too all.
I went there on a class trip. I got rock candy, gum made from I think tree pitch and a ring made from a nail or spike. But I enjoyed this trip a lot more💕
@@AnneClay I think simplicity takes time and effort, we live in a complicated world (2020 can you believe it?) and for me it's a relief, a pause and a necessity to "try" to just remain simple 🙂
I agree Lisa! It’s counter culture to live simply. I try every January when I get into the decluttering and organizing but by April... well it’s a lost cause! It is calming to live with less.
@@AnneClay Like I said "I try" 😂 but I love stuff, love to decorate my home too it's what makes us happy, right 😉. So I improvise and 'simplify' in other ways...love my stuff 😘
I love it we have a new home with everything antiques in it kids think we’re nuts but I think the older you get you start to enjoy and appreciate antiques and seriously I wish I’d been born in that time period.
It's the simplicity of life, and the fact that the world was much smaller then, that attracts us to those days. We did not have to worry about nuclear war, drone strikes, et.al. Our communications were by LETTER, not by text, e-mail, or some other modern horse bleep that I do not comprehend. This allowed for for much less "jumping the gun", and measured response to what was happening in our world. God , family, and community was everything, and we have lost sight of all three in this age. I have often said, the only thing I would trade for 1830 is modern medical advances.
This was a beautiful video...I truly enjoyed it...Thank you for sharing your amazing visit with us who may never get there in our lifetime. It was truly a treat to see...and, have a Very Merry Christmas coming up in 2022
I am so glad that I found your channel Anne. I could watch your videos over and over again. Please never stop. Thank You for Sharing...I Hope that You have a Blessed New Year...Dar
Diane Stacey thank you Diane! I could too! I pretended while I was there but people kept wanting to sing Rudolph the red nose reindeer! I know that wasn’t written back then ! Lol
So today's video is a little bit different - it's a peek into many old homes - living museum style! We went last night and I always gather colonial inspiration - especially from the atmosphere cast by the candlelight! I set this to music so you can just watch and relax. Hope you get some inspiration!
Thank you so much Anne... I felt like I was there with you... You have no idea what your videos mean to me... I have Crohn's Disease so it's very difficult for me to get out and about... But with you I get to see so many beautiful things!!! What a blessing it has been to find your channel... And I can honestly say your my favorite!!!
Oh that sounds wonderful! I've never been to Ireland - but some day when I get there I'll have to check out that museum! I love living history museums!
