For all of you not from Houston...TSU started playing June27th by DJ Screw (I don't know where that Drake thing came from ) in f'97. SU started playing "Knock'n Pictures off the Wall" in f'99.
Well in my opinion since I don't go to either school, im still gon say TxSU handled them. Never really been a fan of SU when their music is written so elementary. When you got 200+ people playing choir chords like its a SATB arrangement then hell you got nothing else to be but loud and elementary. Now when you add harmonies and blends that sound appropriate to the arragements then I'll give props. Most SWAC schools, except TxSU arranges that way. Loud ain't better! #GoTxSU
SU's arrangements of I Love the Lord, Order my Steps, Rain, Beyond, We are One, Yosemite, Growed Up, All Night Long. A lot of secular music out now's got no substance and that's the main amount of music they play, the arrangers pull a lot more music out of some songs nowadays than the artists put in themselves
