This is one of my favorite Aurora videos. Every single second of the imagery is stunning. I love the video even more than I love the song. From the dancing, to the aesthetic, to the cinematography. It's all just so beautiful. And of course the song has a beautiful message behind it. I also feel like I should mention - There is a free game for mobile and switch called "Sky - Children of the Light". Back in December they had a virtual Aurora concert that you could attend. The developers just announced that the concert will be available for anyone to attend from August 27th - Sept 3rd. The concert is quite beautiful, and the game suits Aurora's music incredibly well. Even if you don't want to play the game yourself, or make a video of it, there are videos of people attending the concert available on youtube you can check out.

I saw an interview of her once when she was asked about the kind of people she thought discovered her music and she relayed that she thought it’s “the people who need it.”
From a personal perspective her music is a warm, inviting place that helps with the struggles of being human. No matter who you are or what your back story is, we all share common struggles at some point as we navigate through life.
Her lyrics are especially poignant if you’re someone who’s recently experienced loss as we all must do eventually. I think she’s very connected to the healing power of music.

The purple heart is a thing in BTS’ fandom, ARMY. One of the members, a long time ago, invented that purple means to trust, to love and wanting to be together for a long time. After that we all say "I purple you" or "Borahae" = Bora is purple in Korean and "Hae” is from saranghae which means I love you 💜
Hi again, dear Ashlena.... I am always amazed how right you are in your interpretations of Aurora's songs AND videos. Yes, you are right ! Aurora is very much into LGBTIQ and having no prejudices against anyone, no matter what sexual orientation, religion, skin colour, or origin a persom has. And I think when she sings Queendom live on stage, she is walking around on the stage with a big rainbow-coloured flag. You mentioned that you love the dancing ? Well then I'm already looking forward to your reaction to "Apple tree"... there is a lot of dancing and choreography involved, all under the artistic direction of Aurora... but to make you even more curious, "Apple tree" is also her bloodiest and creepiest video !

It's funny....I've never been _that_ crazy about this song.
It might be the redundancy of the chorus hook? idk.
But......that "chant" she does in the pre-chorus and then throughout the final third of the song as it nears the end...is SO good, so ethereal and affirming and powerful and hopeful sounding that it totally wins me over and makes me kinda love the entire song. But that chant is too good....both the melodic contour of it, but also the tone and timbre of her voice.

This was the first time I heard this artist. The music and associated video appears to be performance art with a message and is done very well. The music itself didn't impress me. Perhaps I'm just not a fan of this genre. I gave this song a second chance by watching the Paste Studios live version and I did enjoy this performance. Still not my style, but I would enjoy experiencing this performance in a small venue.
Definitely watch her live videos they are completely captivating especially the Nidarosdomen performance. I think anyone regardless of the genre can appreciate that show.
