Like I was taught in school and by RSES check the system with amps people refuse to do that people refuse to take temperature drops across metering devices
I did a compressor replacement one time and reclaimed 20 pounds of R22, recharged unit with 10 pounds. Factory says to figure x amount for condensing unit, x amount for evap coil and x amount per foot of line set and write that amount on inside of panel cover. best way is to weight it in!
KNEW you'd find the answer & get it Going ! Oh the look on your face, doing rodent-removal and you even lost your hat in the process ! Too true - what often looks easy can turn-out much more difficult ! It's like you have been framed, seeing you in -between the piping, etc. ! That's so funny about Dad & his boots ! 😉
Hello again, there was a lot of things you were supportet in this week, so the weekend is fine :-)
Why not just weigh the charge in and take the gauges off and test that’s what they do at the factory? Great find and great video!
Yup... that's exactly how we did it. I'm also kinda assuming they didn't have a scale maybe?

What are those units? water chillers?
they are water source heat pumps on a closed water loop with a cooling tower on the roof.
