mountaindog1 I like this workout. I did mine today before this showed. I do a minimum of 20 sets for back then 10 for bis and 4 for forearms. My back just does not respond to lower sets. My chest I can get away with 6 sets and grow, lol. Kind of sucks. Im definitely going to try the rack pulls like that.

Started at 150 and skinny with little muscle now 160 and pecs are popping, biceps, quads, hamstrings are just growing and getting stronger. Great stuff.

I know most this IG model lifters have a program that they’re always trying to sell, and I’m usually totally opposed to them since I feel like they’re marketing gimmicks, but if you put out one out (or have one already), I’d love to use it. You are pulling the bar into the front vertical uprights using your lats to maintain the tension horizontally against the upright. One of the things many people do not realize is that both the traps and lats are involved in maintaining a good position in a deadlift. Additionally, The lats are necessary to prevent the bar from drifting out in front of you. Furthermore, you are not fully extending your torso like you would in a traditional powerlifting deadlift/rack pull to maintain tension across the entire back and you are not driving with your quads and maintaining a upright torso which put additional stress on the spinal Erectors lower and middle traps, lats and rhomboids. I think that pretty much sums it ☝ 👍

John , been searching for an old pullover machine for a while and I finally found one in a gym. I was disappointed as I felt the weight stack would have felt heavier. I question if there is more than one model of the old Nautilus as I didn't really fit well in it at 230 lbs. I imagine there has to be. I love the videos you make . and I especially love the Quads gym special you did. It does me some good to see someone else that gets that grin on their face when they come across a great machine or piece of equipment. keep up the great work, I'll keep watching.

Can u explain why you’re doing that? It looks to me that it gives you strict form to every rep.

Hey John. I didn't quite understand from the video, are you doing 3 ramping sets with the heaviest weight on the last set or are you just doing some warm-up sets before 3 heavy sets at the end? I did this workout yesterday and it felt really good :) Thanks
