Thank you man! I’ve become nonstop thinking about racing legally ever since I bought a 2019 Camaro LS. Even though I only have a 4 cy. Turbo charged 2019 with a manual 6speed tranny, I’ve provoked some 1SS’ and 2 SS’ Camaros into racing from the stop light that we happened to be first in line at. Ok, these aren’t professionals but I beat all of them on the start and barely made it to the quarter mile mark first every time. Being an adrenaline junkie I don’t think about the consequences until I’ve been high on the adrenaline all day thinking about the race over and over again. I have to race. Fast… no matter what the method has always been me. Until I can get my 2SS or better yet, the ZL1 with 1050 HP, and about the same amount of torque, I’m for sure going to practice what you just showed me. Thanks! I am nearing my first ever trip to the track, and your videos are a ton of help! Super excited to see if I can improve on my current PR of 4.0, 0-60 in my Scat on the streets with all season’s, by installing a set of NT555RII’s and heading to the track.
Nice tutorial on the 2 different trees! Raced at Redline and Kennedale using Sportsman Tree, never done Pro Tree!! Few years ago though..in my 2005 Colorado!! LOL
For the Jegs app use toe/foot on the app for more accurate practice. 4th method I would say is watch drag racing vids and use the xmas light in the vid to practice.
Im thinking of raceing my 392 challenger. Do you have time to use launch control? Specifically after you stage and push the button or will it stay engaged if you let off and on the brakes to stage?
That’s now how you cut a pro tree light you don’t use the yellows as soon as the last guys goes full stage you start your countdown to launch *( I launched on 4 every car is different though and everyone counts at different speeds so you gotta find a count that works for you and your car )*and that’s how you cut a light on a pro tree a count system you go on yellow your way too slow the yellows are only on fit 0.1 of a second
Pro tree was intimidating at first but I'm coming around to it. It picks up the tempo at the track, less red lighting, and keeps the flow going smoother which is a good thing. It's when you're expected a Full Tree, then they drop a Pro Tree is what I hate.
I have done the street light test while making a turn with out being too stupid. What will also help on the street is if you can count how many seconds it takes for the light to turn green.
HELLCAT FURY .. the hellcat has a tunnel ram and no cats! It’s actually a lot louder than a mid muffler delete because it only has a small resonator in the middle and no mufflers

Otherwise known as the amount of time it take from when you "let go of the button", and when the car actually comes out of the beams. .320 is the standard value, you don't tell the app how long to have the light on for...

At a traffic light, you watch for the red light to go out instead of the green light to come on.

Mike .. the car has line lock and launch control but unfortunately not a trans brake. I wish it did.. I know the 1320 does 👍

I feel it could do better because of all the spinning it’s doing. The on-board 1/8 timer came out to 7.9.
