참으로 귀한 재능을 타고 나셨어... 특히 채색 감각이 발군이다. 우리가 보는 대상들은 자체만의 빛깔로 보여지는 게 아니라 주변의 많은 사물들의 빛도 함께 반사돼서 보이게 된다. 이 말인즉슨, 대상들이 저마다 하나의 색채로 보여지는 게 아니라 다양한 색채가 혼합되어 보여진다는 것이다. 저 분이 대상에 칠하는 색채는 단색이 하나도 없고 농담도 일정한 패턴이 없다. 머리카락 한 올조차 색감이 다르고 농담이 다르다. 색을 입히는 게 아니라 톤을 입힌다고 할까. 마치 자연이 그려내는 채색과 그대로 닮아 있다. 손과 물과 붓과 종이와 물감이 하나로 아우러진 교향악을 보는 듯하다. 참으로 경이로운 솜씨다. 그림에 문외한인 나로서는 이 이상 어떻게 표현할 방도가 없다.
가끔씩 귀하의 말씀처럼 이런저런 설명을 해보려 했었는데 몇 번 하다 보니 너무 주제 넘는 짓 같아 그만두었습니다. 전 그림에 대한 지식이 전혀 없습니다. 혼자서 두서없이 연습하다보니 도구나 방법에 대한 체계적인 설명을 할 수도 없고, 또 이 수준에서 많은 분들에게 그림에 대해 가타부타 말씀드리는 것이 너무나 어이없다는 생각에 설명을 드릴 수가 없네요. 화실에 오시거나 방문해 달라 하시는 분들은 미숙한 수준을 이해해주시고 그 수준이라도 직접 보시겠다 하시니 보여드리기는 하는데 많이 창피하고 죄스런 마음을 없앨 수는 없네요. 그리고 전 인물화를 좋아하지 않습니다. 유튜브는 멀리 있는 친구들의 요구로 운영하고 있는 것뿐입니다. 아무튼 귀하의 말씀 참고하겠습니다. 시청해주셔서 고맙습니다.

We always talk about the old masters, but if i see this, i think we should talk more about the new masters. This level, especially with watercolour, would even left the old masters speechless. Its 00:30 right now and im going to the bed with a huge smile on my face. Can't wait to wake up again and look at another one.

I'm sorry I have to ask in English! But are you applying the paint washes on her skin wet brush on wet paper- or wet on dry paper, and using a wet brush to then drag the color and blend? such amazing work! I aspire to have this skill

결코 폄하하거나 가르치려드는 의도는 아닙니다만, 기본적으로 사진 사생을 하시는 걸로 알고 있습니다. 이미 렌즈에 의해 해석되어져 정지된 상태로 있어주는 이미지의 전사 과정인 것이죠. 물론 그와 무관하게 통달의 경지에 다다른 재료 운용은 그저 경탄스러울 뿐이지만요

Begin coloring while the paper is dry.
Then apply subsequent colors before the first color dries.
