I'm a late joiner as well, I'm waiting for delivery of my new Fanatec gear as I'm typing this. When I ordered it I didn't even know this level of adjustment was possible! I'm even more excited to get my hands on it now. ;)

So to use my DD Pro on both PC and PS5, should I use one of the five wheel presets for PS5 so I can just switch to that on the wheel when playing PS5 and then enable a profile from Fanalab based on the game and car I will use when on PC? My DD Pro arrives tomorrow and will be figuring all of this out over the coming weekend. Thanks.
Your video was helpful but also overwhelming. I have an all Fanatec sim and I run only ACC. I have used OPTIONS in acc to make minor changes. My concern with Fanalab is that I could really mess up the settings. Editing LED colors and purpose is neat, but my real interest is trying to figure out what I can do about tire grip. One day it's good and another day it's not. Also, I don't tend to look at the wheel display while racing. I glance at the SimHub dashboard. Thanks for the video. I will watch it again.

There needs to be some sort of visual indication in Fanalab when telemetry is actually ON and working or OFF and not working for a game. Right now clicking "Enable Telemetry" seems to do nothing.... or if is does do something, there is no way for us to know if it is working or not. As soon as it is working the button should change to "TELEMETRY ENABLED" or something like that. Also what does "Preview Unavailable" in the Game Telemetry Settings page mean?? When I read that is sounds to me like telemetry is NOT working.... but again I have no idea... this whole area needs improving.... I am trying to get V3 pedal vibration working and also don't know if the Formula V2 vibration motors are doing something or not either.
Is there a possibility to show minimal cornerspeed while driving? Like when the speed is dropping that it’s shown for 3 sec and then switches back to livespeed. Would be interesting.
It’s not a feature available but an interesting idea though.

How do you add more games to it to import settings
One thing I cannot understand: When I load a profile, which one of the 5 options under the "Tuning Menu" are changed to that profile? Another issue I have is that in my Fanalabs V1.66, I has an additional option called "Auto Setup". When I choose this in Fanalabs, it shows as Set 1 on my wheel. When I choose Option 2 in FL it shows as "Set 3" on the wheel and so on. Lastly, when I choose Option 5 in FL the wheel doesn't seem to recognise it. It's all very confusing! HELP! lol
my LEDs never change its just a BRIGHT yellow blinding light all the time.
on the old fanalab i could adjust the min and max on my pedals. and i could also see my shifter. i can no longer see or do those things on new fanalab. help?
Love the video and how much information you have supplied. I have everything showing up on my main page (everything detected) but when i go to the Tuning Menu it says No Device Detected and can't see any of my tuning options as you have in the video (4:17)... mine is not showing anything and bottom left says No Device Detected. Any ideas why that would be?
Not supported on your CSL Elite Base.
I use to have a lot of issues with the EBM rpm leds not matching properly and laggy... thanks!

If I was to download fanalab like the Fanatec tuning on my laptop can I still use fanalab setups on my ps4 for ACC or is it only for pc users? Hope to hear back from you soon it’s my day off and going to be sim racing all day I just got my dd pro bundle setting up now
I have been adding games into the game profile page and loading in some presets i have made for those games. For example american truck simulator, however randomly fanalab seems to just delete them and they vanish and i have to do the entire process of adding the games back into fanalab. Is there something i am missing or any sort of fix for this issue?
Where can I find fanalab? I googled it but can’t find…

Thanks for the great overview. However, something I cant find anywhere is basic info about how the profiles are loaded into the devices/game etc, and if they are persistent. For instance, I'm in Fanalab, how do I load a profile into a game, and do I need to run fanalab and select the profile somehow every time after that, or once loaded (however you do that), is it there until you load another. Or can I just launch the game without fanalab after I've loaded the profile, and the settings remain. I can see a load button on the game profile page, and Iv been assuming that hitting that with a profile selected, will load it not y gear and the game, and that I dont have to do that every time I play the game, unless I wan to change the profile? But I'm guessing, because there isn't any instructions that I can find. Basically, what are the basics of loading a profile?
You need to make sure one of the profiles is set to “Default” (select it so it is green). With FanaLab running it will automatically load the profile when the game starts. If you have different profiles for different cars within the game you will need to either double click the profile to load it or make it “Default”
If you want to keep it simple, create one profile for each game and enable it as default so it will load at game start. Hope this helps.

Hello gentlemen, I’m new to sim racing. When your fine tuning on Fanalab and how do you switch back and forth between IRacing and PS console games? All my Fanatec gear plugs into the back of my DD2 and from there to either the computer of PS…. Is there a cord or adapter I can get so that my gear can plug into both the PS and the computer at the same time?
Consoles are not supported by Fanalab
Does the tuning menu only work for specific Fanatec bases or all of them?
Only with CSW V2.5, CSL Elite PS4 and Podium DD.
I don’t know why, but when I go to tuning menu or any other icon it doesn’t show these options. The page is completely black with no adjustments. Does anyone know what I did wrong?
Maybe silly but is your wheel base powered on and plugged in? Do you have the latest driver and Fanalab versions installed?

Hi, great video! One question…. does Fanalab remember the button settings on the wheel? I’ve never used Fanalab but if I change wheels and say, from Kartkraft to RF2 when I go back to Kartkraft I have to remap my button settings. Thanks in advance 👍🏼

I can’t make the Dirt Rally 2.0 (Pc) to show the LED or ITM on the wheel…
Clicked on Enable Telemetry & fanalab game Led .. it said UDP 20888 port & enable already.
Try to search for the resolution, no luck on it.

Thank you. Unfortunately Dirt Rally doesn’t fully support all the features of FanaLab. You can run the legacy screen for gear and speed.

This video was a great help. I'm having an issue in F1 2020 where the rev lights I've adjusted from having the first 3 as Yellow to Green but in-game it randomly gets confused and changes the first 3 rev lights from yellow to green back and forth like crazy - almost like my change is conflicting with something else.
What is the correct setup for the LEDs in F1 2020? I have the UDP Port set to 20888 and have the Fanatec LED setting to on in the Telemetry Settings in F1. Thanks!
Hey man I’m having the same issues with Assetto Corsa Competitione.
I’ve adjusted my LEDs to the light up at the proper RPM as my Porsche and also changed the colors and in which Formation they light up fitting to the Porsche ones. But now they are doing exactly what you described aka displaying what I’ve set up but also switching to the old setup so they all intervene each other and it’s like a Crazy christmastree Lightshow.
Did you fix you’re Problem? And if so could you tell me how you did it?
@@hikingjoe4752 Hey, for 2020 it was that you need the LED settings off in-game.
It's counterintuitive but otherwise Fanalab tries to do your customizations, but the option on in-game means the game itself is trying to control it instead, for if you didn't want to run Fanalab and just use the default that the game decides for the LEDs.

Hello, do you know if there is any possibility too run the V3 Pedal Vibration on Forza Horizon 5? I just cant find anythin really helpfull for these pedals and is there a posibility to add FH5 to Fanalab.
Horizon 5 is not supported by Fanalab. You can use the BLI to activate in game at a certain threshold.

Hi Marc. For the most part yes Steam is the main platform.
What about creating a profile from scratch for an unlisted game? I play ATS, ETS2, Farm Sim, and some Bus driving sims that aren't detected by Fanalabs. Thanks for any info you can give!
Unfortunately if the game is not supported by Fanalab it will not work. You can always create profiles to load the basic settings if the 5 on wheel settings are not enough.

hello to not lock the wheels in iRacing there is some adjustment in pedals that can help me apreciated my pedals Fanatec CS Pedals V3 Inverted
Increase the brake level on your wheel settings closer to 90 and work down from there until you find a sweet spot. Also check the Force Factor in iRacing by pressing about 50% pressure on the pedal and see what iRacing is sending to the game. Then fine tune it to how you like but I think you should be ok to just increase the Brake level sensitivity. Hope this helps.

Im having an issue where my steering wheel buttons stop working mid race. Anyone know the fix? I have a DD2 and bmw gt2 wheel
Check the screws inside the wheel to make sure they are not loose and also verify non of the pins are damaged. If you are still have disconnects or non responsive buttons it may be your cable or connection. Always best to plug into a USB 2 slot for stability

I can't get my LEDs to work on my CLS DD. I only need them for Formula 1. I've already tried with Fanalab and can't get it right. I have also tried FaaLED, but this program does not recognize my steering wheel. I hope someone can help me, I would be very grateful.

Fanalab won’t work with consoles. You can though, save settings 1-5.
Please help!? I recently got the club sport wheelbase 2.5 with the Xbox one wheel and initially fanalabs detected it. After downloading and installing the updates tho, fanalabs no longer detects anything. I've never even used the thing yet and I'm stuck with unplayable expensive hardware.
Have you made sure to be on the latest driver/firmware 381 and Fanalab 154.2?

Hi. If you go into your LED panel you’ll see “Speed” set it as Prioirity 1.

Also... on the Game Profile page for me in Device section it only shows my CSW V2.5.... the Steering Wheel and Pedals show up as "Not Available" even though the main page of program shows them correctly as Formula V2 and Pedals V3 EDIT: actually this is OK... seems they all show if I save a profile with them all in it.
How are you changing per car with FanaLabs ?
For now I set the car I plan on driving as default so it loads automatically however if I decide to run another car then I just swap out to FanaLab double click to load that car and tab back to the game.
Hopefully Auto detect is eventually supported 😉
@@OnTheGrid Isnt the idea to load up to 5 profiles to the wheel when starting a game so you could load 5 cars to the wheel ... The problem is that there is no intuitive way to know that you have to select the SET # in Tuning menu - Then create a profile... its just weird. SETUP Index correlates to SET # on the wheel. You should be able to edit the Index # when creating a profile yeah ! Great stuff, but users need to review with designers at each step.

Fanalab needs to be running simultaneously with the game, so it will not work on console.

No, Shifter is only visible in Fanalab when connected with the USB Adapter.

Make sure you save the setup under the profiles tab and either select the default tab for you preferred setup. Keep in mind the latest FanaLab has auto loading profiles based on the car you select in game. Game changer

I just bought the DD1 podium and not being able to do adjustments on the Fly from the steering wheel LCD screen I've see videos people making adjustments off force feedback strength and all the other settings without having to do a control Tab and going to the PC can you please share how to get the dd1 LCD display the settings thank you
Depending on the wheel you have, all
You need to do is press the small black tuning menu button. Then the settings will show on the DD. If you press and hold the tubing menu while rotating the funky switch you can show other information screens related to the DD base.

Thank you for doing this. When you use the FFB in fanalab, and you say turn it off in game, if I am playing Assetto Corsa, using Content Manager, how do you shut off in game? Do i just turn the "gain" down to zero in settings->AC->Controls->FFB? I don't see a simple on/off button for in game FFB.
When you turn the FFB off either in Fanalab or the game then obviously you dont have any FFB...😅 So you should of course never ever turn FFB off anywhere.....
