I've been living in Turkey for the last four years and I love it here but I feel homesick sometimes and listening to someone talk about my city and the brands that I use to use and just hearing the style of speaking (canadian style😅) makes me feel happy. Thank you 😊
Omg you have no idea how happy this comment just made me 💗 Also that is so crazy, I used to live in Istanbul! Hence all the lentils and tomato paste 😂 I still always make kofte, haydari, mericimek corbasi, patlican salatasi, etc at home and I miss Turkey often, it's such a special place!
@@kateismostlygoodwmoney of course, any good turk knows that all good meals start with a base of onions and tomato paste! 😄 I noticed the Istanbul tshirt in one of your videos and guessed that there must be a connection. I hope to support all your future youtube endeavours!
I spend about $150-200 on groceries most months. But that’s only cause it’s supplemented with an expensive protein meal replacement powder that I stock up on like once a year, which averages about $4 per meal for those shakes, so if I count that in there once a day I’m usually around $250-300 a month. I also do a lot of intermittent fasting so I save money that way 😂
Woww even with that expensive meal replacement, $250-300 is really great! Girl, I am just about ready to start intermittent fasting because I am so bored of making myself meals 😂
I wanna try a “low spend” on groceries this month where I just use everything I have. Thinking I can get away with spending $50-100 on staples that I always go through pretty fast.
Yes I love shop your pantry challenges! Such a good way to use things up, reduce waste AND have a really low spend month. I have been thinking about doing a low or no-spend month towards the end of the year or in the new year 😃
Where are you located and what's your monthly budget for groceries? 👀

Where did you get your water pitcher? We see in your frig
It's from Clearly Filtered! It's more expensive but it filters out SO many things that regular filters don't, like heavy metals and micro-plastics 😓
Montreal here , my husband eats 300$ a week…
