- Three Baltimore court buildings reopened Thursday after closing last Friday due to elevated levels of legionella bacteria. The findings arose after precautionary testing of the water at the city's downtown courthouses - the district court on East Fayette Street and the two circuit courts, the Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. and the Elijah Cummings courthouses - for legionella bacteria, which can cause a serious form of pneumonia.
