Hi I recommend that you check the white tube inside the tap . It' may had a picked in the tube. I recommend just rubbing a little silicone grease food grade round it . I look forward to see how you do on space hopper has its been my favourite so far good luck
We initially thought that too, but it would only pour at 90 degrees on the first brea, the second one did pour much better, hopefully it was just because it was new, but I have heard of people having issues, Fingers crossed your new one works with no issues and you get to keep your original, someone in the comments below suggested foo grade silicone on the pipe which might help! - let us know how you get on, Tim
I’m new to Pinter as well. So not sure what went wrong on your first brew. Someone on the Facebook group told me to tap it the day before you want to drink it. And the next day it doesn’t come out as foamy and it’s worked for me so far. Going to be brewing Space Hopper in a couple of weeks as well 👍
Hi Dean, It's definitely a learning curve, I have been told the same too about tapping it a day before, I also cold crashed the second brew, which I think helped a lot reducing the sediment. We did also abandon this brew as there was still a bit of a wine-like taste to it, I'm assuming that's something that may of gone wrong during the process, rather than the actual taste of the lager. I heard Space Hopper/Big Dippa were much easier to brew, so fingers crossed. Let us know how you get on with your Hopper, I think we'll def vlog/review ours. :)
You aren't opening the tap enough, it might be the camera angle but it looked like you went to 15 degrees, you need to be really assertive with the tap. Unlock and pull straight to 45. Beer looks lovely mind!!!

@@BackFlippingBaldi2391 Hi Tim, I have seen that video, definitely good tips that come from their channel :)

You could be right Ben, will deffo keep that in mind for the next tapping - Cheers!
You need to go straight to 45 degrees very smartly. That'll help
Thanks, will try it on the Space Hopper, gonna get that going this week/end, been working on a couple of other videos :)
That’s not a 45 degree pour, that’s the squirty head pour!
I think looking at this and Ben's feedback, I mustn't be hitting the 45 degree pour
@@ourtwotube I poured like that on my first tap and ended up with froth. The tap wasn’t willing to go into 45 degrees, hadn’t pulled it up enough.
