Very good, well done video. I agree with your choices. The English colonists themselves had trouble with the native's name for the state coming up with Massachusetts. The narrator did a great job ..... I'd say 13 out of 15 is native level. I even had trouble with local pronunciation growing up there ...... take a left after the Shop Rite ... took me multiple passes before I realized I was looking for a sharp right .... not the eponymous grocery chain.
There are no good cities or towns in Massachusetts. I live here. It sucks. Bigly! Massachusetts is A shake down for tax cash for useless town and city councils that do nothing but keep the status quote. That’s it. The roads suck. They’re never plowed and the DPWs all are worthless. Unless you have to come here, say for a crap job, don’t.
Newburyport is a city, not a town. You pronounced Concord wrong. It's pronounced conquered, not Con-cord. Lenox is pronounced Lenix. Shelbourne Falls is not a town. It's an unincorporated hamlet on the border between the towns of Shelbourne & Buckland. Nantucket is the only place in New England that's a town and a county. Unlike Martha's Vineyard, which is divided into 6 or 7 towns, the entire island of Nantucket is incorporated as one town with 3 villages and 2 small hamlets. The whole island is also the County of Nantucket.
You only have to make half million a year to live in any of them. They are very nice though. List is majority of beach towns on south and north shore except Berkshires.
Definitely good choice of cities

Thought you might get all pronunciations right till you got to Lenox.
He did Newburyport way before Lenox and no one says New-Bury-Port.
