Their best lineup imo. These are the dudes that made Impulse and Augment (2011 and 2013), from this line-up only guys left are Jesse (guitarist & clean vocals) and Alex (drummer). Great band
If you would have told me this album would age as well as it did, I’d have said you were crazy. I replay the fuck out of this album now more than I ever did
Man I love this band so much 🤘 it'd be so amazing if Erra brought back Garrison Lee and Alan Rigdon for a live show of Impulse and Augment. 3:08 Man Alan was KILLING it on them back up vocals!
this was the day after their show in KY on this tour, and after their show they all came to my apartment and showered and chilled with us until 3am when they left do drive to IL for this show, these guys are awesome and some of the nicest dudes
It's multi tracked here and it's way overbearing. Hence the "Could we get those back tracks down a good bit" at the end of the song. Jesse is the man tho.
@@bodoms_demon4159 I think they were referring to how loud the backtrack was with the outro to the song, it spiked volume wise and probably rocked their ears
this is perfectly executed they had guitar, mic, bass, and drums perfectly harmonised this is what they need to do now a days idk who they got in charge of the volume but God damn u can't get it projected better than this
i had to miss them last weekend for their first ime in colorado cause i was in california, im gonna be so pissed if they dont come for another year....they need to get bigger quickly so i can see them faster
Dude that shit was so crazy to me. I love this, and and just got on the mind high, that is the music that I hear on the CD is based on real, not made in the studio sound that sounds good. Its music that was good made in a studio. Not from a studio. I hope that makes sense to someone. Like northlanes heart. The song.
Yes. This music was actually made and composed by people in a studio. It wasn’t crafted digitally in a lab formulated to sound good based on statistics. This music was made from the heart

+dejaron hermann probably the second guitarist, he has a mic standing in front of him and didn't move like at all during the whole song :D pretty sure that was him
these guys are cool as hell. i hung out with their guitarists before their show in columbus georgia at gallery 13. it was kinda funny because i had never heard them before that show and after it was over i felt like i was talking to gods haha
These guys know their stuff, it's not backtracked. You can hear he stops singing at one point as well. The backtrack thing went on in the end, just an emergency backup plan I guess.
to everyone wondering who was singing at 3:00 to the end, it was just the backtrack harmonies. even at the end they asked to sounds guy to turn the back tracks way down because as you heard, it overpowered the singer at the end and you couldnt even hear him over the backtracked harmonies.
it's not backtracked. You can hear that it's Jesse's voice live through the whole song. The end thing is the other guitarist/vocalist or something. No need to worry.
singers use backtracks to harmonize to, the other guitarist doesnt sing at all except for a few shout out parts. The guitar backtrack is just for show so it sounds like the album, bands use this just for playing live so you can get the sense of the album while at a show
The crowd fucking sucks man, I just don't get people. You get to see a very talented band with great songs and you just stare at them and I'm here like I wish I was there to feel those great songs.
Yeah it is my opinion(: it's just when you listen to bands like I the Mighty, Hands Like Houses, and search the city you really appreciate good clean vocals that are consistent it's really hard to listen to him struggle to hit the high notes. His voice does not sound relaxed at all. But yeah that's just my take on it
This lineup 😭
Their best lineup imo. These are the dudes that made Impulse and Augment (2011 and 2013), from this line-up only guys left are Jesse (guitarist & clean vocals) and Alex (drummer). Great band
Would love to hear this song live again
Current line-up is dogshit. It was a wildride when they had brock lesnar as their vocalist and that was such a bad time lmao.
I miss Garrison
lol NO
@@Alkatribe Yes.
it`s nice to rewatch old videos, guys really have grown up. hard work
i miss this lineup so much :(
Jesus I miss this ERRA
Cory Wilbanks yess
I feel you
These guys are damn good live. Cleans and unclean both. People who hate are obviously blindly ignorant and have never performed music like this live.
Agreed 6 years later
@@trentonziegler agreed
@@typhoon5150 hell yeah people think that shit is eazy and should sound like the damn recording everytime, it doesn't work like that
agreed
Agreed ! I saw them in October of this year 2021 in Seattle showbox
looks like the two meat head bullies the bassist and the front man teamed up with the 3 nerds to create an awesome band
😂 lol! You comment made my day bro
best comment ever !:D
🤣😂🤣 this made my night
I can watch this video over and over all day long. Can't believe I found this 4 years too late.
Amen Dude!
Damn Jesse sounded great that night.
Jesus
The every metalcore vocalist ever video is a proven fact at at the beginning of this video
not shame, best band i've ever heard in live, so much respect to guitarist that do clean vocals, innefable...
This album (Impulse) turned 10 as of today (November 30, 2021).
3:08 Man Alan was KILLING it on them back up vocals!
the bassist is like a more jacked up version of Born of Osiris' bassist
Lol yes, he also has a good choice in basses. Peavey Grinds fucking rule
he plays rugby
this was the day after their show in KY on this tour, and after their show they all came to my apartment and showered and chilled with us until 3am when they left do drive to IL for this show, these guys are awesome and some of the nicest dudes
so effing consistent.. more bands like this please =)
Erra? Holy shit. You're incredible. I love them so much.
Jesse was hitting those high notes perfectly! At the end but the back track was louder then him.. mixer guy common bro! You had one job !
Erra! I've been waiting for good live quality videos form them. They sound amazing
Alan and Garrison
Where have I been? I just listened to them yesterday. Damn.
3:08 amazing clean vocal Jesse live !! Wow!! I Miss this album
It's multi tracked here and it's way overbearing. Hence the "Could we get those back tracks down a good bit" at the end of the song. Jesse is the man tho.

Underrated song
I love it,
BRING HIM BACK
Garrison has the most impressive breath control and range of any metalcore vocalist ever, of all time.
Do you call this range? Only lows
Garrison-"sing it if you know it" Jessie-"I'll sing it but I don't know it." Lol
LOL yup
holy shit! never expected you to get erra. THANKS!
Holy shit the singer is nailing those notes live. I must say, I'm rather impressed!
3:10 dat vocal harmonies
PLEASE UPLOAD THEIR FULL SET!
Everything about this band is perfect!
one of my favorite bands. i want to see live videos of songs off of the Andromeda EP and self titled EP.
Would love to hear this song live again. Last video I can find is from a performance in 2018
For the people saying the back tracks are too loud, garrison says to lower them after the song is over so its not their fault its the venue's
I bet these guys will blow up someday!
this is perfectly executed they had guitar, mic, bass, and drums perfectly harmonised this is what they need to do now a days idk who they got in charge of the volume but God damn u can't get it projected better than this
plus it was all raw
First live video I've seen of them, glad he can pull the cleans off.
These guys are really good live! Holy shit!
I'd cry if you guys came to Germany one day and I could see you play...
the bassist had the most energy lol
try to main their songs, sing and perform live and then see if u can jump and bang your head like it's so easy
@@alejandrogarcia3883 true
excellent quality live
i was here!! this was a sick set:D
Just found these guys.. Like the sound
i had to miss them last weekend for their first ime in colorado cause i was in california, im gonna be so pissed if they dont come for another year....they need to get bigger quickly so i can see them faster
Ahh ERRA is so epic, the scream are awesome, their cleans could use some polishing but it's pretty neat.

I am a spirit
There are masses alike
Hiding in plain sight
Open your eyes
You can not perceive me
Closed off to the senses that exist
In your reality
There is a ghost in all of us
There are many that try to open their minds
Deciphering the intellect of spiritual design
White noise
Too many have come before you and failed
Causing the constant scientific derail
Open up
Open your eyes
Beyond our world lie parallels between
Our dimensions images unseen
What is this entity
And what does it want of me
It has a hold on my soul
I can't get free
So many that try to open their minds
Deciphering the intellect of
Spiritual design
White noise

It has a hold on my soul
I can't get free
Am I allowing my atrophy
Or can I stop this
From happening?
I will abandon myself
I will abandon myself

I will leave my body
Still small voices are resonating
Beyond our world lie
Parallels between

Saw these guys ib PA with fit for a king
who was signing along with jesse at 3:06 did anyone else hear dat?
+dejaron hermann probably the second guitarist, he has a mic standing in front of him and didn't move like at all during the whole song :D pretty sure that was him
+Kolibree djent
Alan. He's not in the band anymore
+Steve Aboagye the Rigdon
It was a backing track...smh
dat harmony at 3:09
Garrison speaking at 1:34 confused Jesse, and he lost the time of the chorus
HAHAHHAHAHHA so funny!!!
Almost more stoked for ERRA than for ABR at Frozen Flame.
these guys are cool as hell. i hung out with their guitarists before their show in columbus georgia at gallery 13. it was kinda funny because i had never heard them before that show and after it was over i felt like i was talking to gods haha
fucking amazing
Best. Band. Ever.
do you happen to have a video of pattern interrupt ??
These guys write awesome music but their live set sounds pretty rough around the edges. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Wrong
These guys know their stuff, it's not backtracked. You can hear he stops singing at one point as well. The backtrack thing went on in the end, just an emergency backup plan I guess.
your Opinion..i like the Cleans so much!!
yeah it turned on by mistake. Quite weird. Great song :)
to everyone wondering who was singing at 3:00 to the end, it was just the backtrack harmonies. even at the end they asked to sounds guy to turn the back tracks way down because as you heard, it overpowered the singer at the end and you couldnt even hear him over the backtracked harmonies.
it's not backtracked. You can hear that it's Jesse's voice live through the whole song. The end thing is the other guitarist/vocalist or something. No need to worry.
at the end sounds like a two voice in harmony!?
Back tracks out!
dejaron hermann it was a backing track
singers use backtracks to harmonize to, the other guitarist doesnt sing at all except for a few shout out parts. The guitar backtrack is just for show so it sounds like the album, bands use this just for playing live so you can get the sense of the album while at a show
Call the screamer an emo kid, and you'll meet the fury of the bicep
but every band has that? If all fails. It's not like they use the backtrack. I thought you meant that they were using it throughout the song.
Garrison Lee is a fucking machine.
check out via trophy's vocalist he's a tank!
1:20 is the most epic thing ever
tbh i thought this live performance would be really bad but they killed this.
1:40 Alex botched the count and totally fucked jesse all up lol good recovery tho. bet they had a talk about that after the show
Sounds like they were having some sound problems at the beginning of this, they didnt look pleased
was sean not in the band at this point?
I think Sean joined sometime around the end of 2013. Not exactly sure, but around that time.
Nope. He joined not long after Augment came out, so late 2013.
The crowd fucking sucks man, I just don't get people. You get to see a very talented band with great songs and you just stare at them and I'm here like I wish I was there to feel those great songs.
sounds JUST like on the album
I love jesses voice but tbh, I like the sound of the lower harmony more than his actual voice.
I do believe we have found the next Dylan Anderson, pals.
so fucking dope!!!
Sounds just like they do on the albums:p
they made a few mistakes but i love them all the same. Garrison :,(
its actually a backtrack.
1:35 The drummer fucked Jessie up LOL
I am a spirit
Yeah, apparently he wants to pursue school and other things in his life. I hope it goes well, but sad he's gone.
Does Jesse remind anyone of a modern day Bill S Preston Esquire?
where is garrison now?
I dont know if he's doing music anymore, but he had a guest spot on Alan's new band and his lows are still as powerful as ever
real talk man, this band is fucking nuts.
Yeah it is my opinion(: it's just when you listen to bands like I the Mighty, Hands Like Houses, and search the city you really appreciate good clean vocals that are consistent it's really hard to listen to him struggle to hit the high notes. His voice does not sound relaxed at all. But yeah that's just my take on it
Goofy ahh tom setup 💀 Alex if you see this I still love you
The screamer is epic though
yeah he looked shocked
at 1:35 I'm pretty sure he forgot his own lyrics, still sound great live though.
Great band but not sure if it's just me or the drummer seems off beat and slightly sloppy here but it could have just been an off day so oh well xd
