HybridWebView was in experimental for 2 years before becoming a finished polished feature. The team literally puts out service releases every week, maybe give them a try: github.com/dotnet/maui/discussions/categories/announcements
I had considered migrating a XF app that I worked on for a couple of years, but it’s clear that Microsoft isn’t willing to spend serious money on this. The absolute shock of going from the incredible experience of tight VS integration around WPF to the unrelenting barrage of phantom errors that I remember with Xamarin was bad enough. I just cannot justify more soul crushing when I can just develop native apps on each platform without that mess. If Microsoft has decided it’s not worth it, who am I to disagree?
How needs all these features for a product that has so many bugs that you can only use it for the most simplistic apps! Wouldn’t say that Xamarin Forms was a perfect product, but at least it was usable. Maui has a long way to go to reach the same reliability.
Wow new features wooow. How about making the basics work, you know trivial boring stuff for us boring developers who don't fall in euphoric trans with each preview release because we know what follows.

MAUI doesn’t need any new experimental features until the existing bugs are fixed. Shameless

My favourite for now is the HybridWebView.

New features are nice, but main functionality is still as reliable as if it were in alpha.
