The translation may change a bit, but the gist is there :-) I haven't done Christmas for years. To tell the truth the only holiday stipulated on this date is in the book of maccabees "Chanukah celebrated the 25th of the month of Kislev, which corresponds to December 25. Even the pagans know that this holiday is pagan. I spoke about it ago. years to my pastor but he did not want to know. Finally by preaching the birth of Jesus on that date (and saying that they know very well that it is not on that date that he was born) they do not only finally preach a lie. One day I came across this verse when I left this feast "Jeremiah 10.2 2 Thus says the Lord: Do not imitate the way of the nations, And do not be afraid of the signs from heaven, because the nations fear them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are vanity. Wood is cut in the forest; The workman's hand works it with the ax; 4 They adorn it with silver and gold, and fasten it with nails and hammers, so that it does not shake. "It's so obvious when you read this passage ... it's even unbelievable when I think about it ... If it's not clear to everyone ... Ask people to celebrate Christmas on September 25 for example !!! Just like the passage in Revelation about which Pawson speaks "I was delighted (delighted is not in Greek) in spirit on the day of the Lord (Lord is indeed an adjective, and means Sunday in Greek kurianos). This day referred to the moment when he speaks of it to the fact that this day was the day when Domitian ordered that each person prostrate in some way before his statue and that of Julius Caesar saying "this is the day of the Lord" Domitian took himself for a god ... and when I see how we interpreted it..In fact John himself said in the previous verse that he was their companion in suffering, in fact he was thinking of them that day because he knew that several brothers and sisters were going to perish because they would not bow down to this statue ... Ditto for Christmas, it is the undefeated sun ... We have taken up so much the Roman and Greek traditions ... scares ... unfortunately many are much more attached to traditions than to the Scriptures

For example when your physical body becomes sick your spirititual body becomes weak aswell. So because of all the Spiritual attacks during this time of the year on all of God's children, we have to stay strong and put on the full armor of the Lord because every spiritual blow weakens us in every dimention of our being.
It's up to you what you make of Christmas, stressed are only those who make it to be stressful. We celebrate Christmas in our family and I do not feel it as a stressful time at all, because I have made this choice. We are farmers, we do fire, we are thankful for what we have, children believe in Father Christmas, we decorate our house with ivy, holy and fir and we do lots of other things, that make us happy. And when the house smells of frankincense and the fire is on and we kiss under mistletoe, we are happy to be safe and together. We buy Christmas Tree in pot and then we plant it on our farm. We buy wooden toys and lots of books and burn lots of candles. It's about our family, not others. If you don't have any one, to make Christmas special, don't do it.
Christmas celebration should be encouraged and viewed through the bible teaching. It is one very loud call to all mankind to return to God. We all have become prodigals and truly have an urgent need to come home to our Creator. Do not worry, no matter how you are plastered with that smelly pig mud (sin), the Father is extremely gracious, He will (guaranteed 100%) welcome you back! He traveled from His throne to the cross seeking for you. Come home. He has a beautiful robe and a beautiful crown to give you. With all your stench, His precious blood will cleanse you whiter than snow. Come home, please!
The bible instructs us on what exactly it wants us to do, there is in no way, shape or form God mentions for us to celebrate Christmas. God is infallible.

Christ is a title meaning ‘anointed one’ according to the Greek word Christos from which the English takes it from. Translated into Hebrew Christ means Messiah. Christ is a title that is associated with Yeshua or Jesus as it is translated in the Greek. The anointed one is commonly known to have been part of the prophecy associated with Jesus of the bible though throughout the bible and ancient times there were many who were anointed, as to anoint refers to the rubbing oil as part of a religious ceremony. In many churches today people are being anointed with oil just as they were being in ancient times. Therefore, to refer to one as anointed without associating the anointing with a name the title is open to be interpreted as being associated with whoever is making the association. For example, the name king is also a title but unless one refers to a person then the title is open to be applied to whoever one feels appropriate to give it to, whether that person is royalty or otherwise. The work Christmas is not biblical and does not appear anywhere in the bible, though Christians associate the word Christmas with the celebration that we all know to be on the 25th December. Christians also know that this is the time we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus, The Christ, the anointed one, who was anointed by The Holy Spirit at His water baptism hosted by John The Baptist. However, if we break down the word Christmas, which we can unequivocally recognise is not a biblical word; that is, it does not appear in the bible, and take a closer look, we will see that what we actually verbalise we are celebrating is the ‘the anointed one’s mass’. The word ‘mass’ is a lengthening of the word ‘mas’ and is derived from the Latin word ‘missa’ which is where we get the word ‘dismiss’, however that said, over time, the word mas has altered its meaning and, as well as lengthening in term from ‘mas’ to ‘mass’, it now translates as ‘large group’. I must stress at this time that even in Jesus’ time he was referred to under many different titles, Rabbi, Master, Teacher, My Lord, and he did not challenge any of these titles as I believe that He may have looked at the heart of those who were making the references. So, when we say Christmas in reference to the celebration of Him He may not be offended by what we say as He looks at our heart. It is what we say and do which bears significance. That said, from the billions of people who celebrate Christmas, many of them atheists or of other faiths, or from Christian faiths, many will revere Christmas as in what appears to be a non-Christian terminology, because the word Christmas, being a non-biblical word in its own right, is a celebration which has rituals associated with it that go back to antiquity. It is well documented that the 25th December was celebrated with gifts, feasts, evergreen fir trees, yule logs, mistletoe, and gods (Odin amongst others) riding on horse-drawn carts through the night sky. In the Bible, Jeremiah verse 10 refers to a tree being cut out of the forest and decorated with gold and silver. The text strongly advises against followers of YHWH to behave in this manner as the heathens do. Furthermore, when one considers that Christmas, being a word in its own right, actually has a head referred to as a father, the reference to Jesus becomes more distant from the intended use of the non-biblical word to narrate a biblical event. As said, I believe that Jesus sees our hearts and intercedes for us with YHWH The father, however this head of Christmas, the father of Christmas, has clearly stated his name and most of the world knows this name as santa clause aka ‘FATHER CHRISTMAS’. When one considers the personification of this figures omnipresence in delivering presents to all, the personification of this figures imagery on TV and media, the personification of this figure in the hearts and minds of children and adults alike, the personification of this figure in our homes, the references to this figure over and above the reference of Jesus in society at the time of celebration, it becomes more evident that the amalgamation of celebrations both Christian and pagan are rooted in something more sinister than is first apparent. Then one has to consider the lead character of the celebration known as father Christmas. He is said to have been derived from St Nicholas, also known as Nicholas of Myra, a Turkish priest who was revered for giving gifts to poor and deprived children. Historical depictions of St Nicholas contrast the character of the Father Christmas that we have come to know; a pale white bearded tubby man in a red suit with a red bag who rides a sleigh across the sky and delivers gifts to all, accessing homes via a chimney. One only has to look at the pagan celebrations of Saturnalia and Yule to see the resemblance or the Saturn god, the Yule god, and the current day santa clause. The Yule god, Odin, was said to have ridden through the skies on a horse drawn carriage similar to how reindeer are said to carry santa in today’s mythical story and has long white hair with a long white beard. Similarly the Saturn god has the same features. It is evident therefore that the reference to the anointed one is actually intended for some other deity associated with the ‘father’ of the ‘anointed one’s mass’ and that father appears to be santa clause. What is even more sinister is that the word santa can be seen as an anagram of the word satan. Revelation 12 v 9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth Could this be one of the deceptions where the whole world is deceived? Are we giving power to this character by revering the character annually with such favour, love, and pagan ritual; evergreen fir tree, giving of presents to each other, mistletoe, feasting, drinking? The giving of gifts is taken from the nativity where the wise men were said to have brought precious gift before the new born king so we tend to give presents to each other at this time of year even though we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. This appears to be contrary to the giving of gifts to each other on our birthdays as we do not tend to give any gifts to Jesus on the day that we set aside to celebrate His birthday. If we wish to give gifts to Jesus on the day we set aside to celebrate His birth I would suggest that we consider what He said in the book of Matthew about how helping the naked, imprisoned, hungry, was like doing unto Him, and this was how the goats were separated from the sheep. Should we therefore be giving gifts unto these? To deceive someone is to deliberately cause that person to believe something that is not true, for your own personal gain. Therefore, whatever one wants to believe about the authenticity of their actions this can be contrary to what effect their actions have and how it benefits the deceiver. If you gave me £1000 to help the poor and I used it to fuel my own gain you maybe blessed for your intentional heart but your lack of knowledge may have led to the fuelling of unrighteousness. The History of Saturnalia, it’s rituals, and the need for the Roman emporer to adjoin its festivities with the birth of Jesus is well documented but few Christians appear to research or acknowledge the pagan practises that are entwined with the celebration. Revelation 12 v 9 calls that old dragon ‘a deceiver’ and a deceiver of the whole world. From the Garden of Eden the deceit was truth mixed with lies and this appears to be the same today. Easter is riddled with similar connotation.

All true, If Jesus would want us to celebrate his birthday, he would have let us Christians know. But actually Christmas came the word ''Christ-Mass'', True Christian should never celebrate it because it is not of God.
In Deuteronomy God says you shall not worship me the way the pagans worship their gods. That’s what Christmas is! It’s the darkest day of the year and it was a day they celebrated pagan god birthdays. Even more importantly, it takes away from knowing the true birthday and the significant of him being born when he was which was during the feast of tabernacles held during the fall. “The word became flesh and tabernacled among us.” Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-18 that he was not there to abolish the law (original translation was Torah) or prophets but to fulfill the law and prophets. Until heaven and earth pass away, not one iota or one comma will go away until all had been fulfilled” What was he saying? How did he fulfill the law and the prophets? Part of knowing this is understanding how Jesus fulfilled (and will continue to when he reigned) the Torah and prophecies so we can understand and witness to others why we know he was the Messiah. In Hosea God said my people were destroyed for the lack of knowledge. In this generation more than ever it’s important that we can have an answer for our faith which is also in the Bible. God bless you and your understanding!!
December 25 birth of Christ proof: Saint Luke reports that Zacharias served in the “course of Abias” (Lk 1:5) which Scripture records as the eighth course among the twenty-four priestly courses (Neh 12:17). Each shift of priests served one week in the temple for two times each year. The course of Abias served during the eighth week and the thirty-second week in the annual cycle. However, when did the cycle of courses begin? Josef Heinrich Friedlieb has convincingly established that the first priestly course of Jojarib was on duty during the destruction of Jerusalem on the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av. Thus the priestly course of Jojarib was on duty during the second week of Av. Consequently, the priestly course of Abias (the course of Saint Zacharias) was undoubtedly serving during the second week of the Jewish month of Tishri-the very week of the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of Tishri. In our calendar, the Day of Atonement would land anywhere from September 22 to October 8. Zacharias and Elizabeth conceived John the Baptist immediately after Zacharias served his course. This entails that Saint John the Baptist would have been conceived somewhere around the end of September, placing John’s birth at the end of June, confirming the Catholic Church’s celebration of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist on June 24. The second-century Protoevangelium of Saint James also confirms a late September conception of the Baptist since the work depicts Saint Zacharias as High Priest and as entering the Holy of Holies-not merely the holy place with the altar of incense. This is a factual mistake because Zacharias was not the high priest, but one of the chief priests. , the Protoevangelium regards Zacharias as a high priest and this associates him with the Day of Atonement, which lands on the tenth day of the Hebrew month of Tishri (roughly the end of our September). Immediately after this entry into the temple and message of the Archangel Gabriel, Zacharias and Elizabeth conceive John the Baptist. Allowing for forty weeks of gestation, this places the birth of John the Baptist at the end of June-once again confirming the Catholic date for the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist on June 24. The rest of the dating is rather simple. We read that just after the Immaculate Virgin Mary conceived Christ, she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth who was six months pregnant with John the Baptist. This means that John the Baptist was six months older that our Lord Jesus Christ (Lk 1:24-27, 36). If you add six months to June 24 you get December 24-25 as the birthday of Christ. Then, if you subtract nine months from December 25 you get that the Annunciation was March 25. All the dates match up perfectly. So then, if John the Baptist was conceived shortly after the Jewish Day of the Atonement, then the traditional Catholic dates are essentially correct. The birth of Christ would be about or on December 25. Sacred Tradition also confirms December 25 as the birthday of the Son of God. The source of this ancient tradition is the Blessed Virgin Mary herself. Ask any mother about the birth of her children. She will not only give you the date of the birth, but she will be able to rattle off the time, the location, the weather, the weight of the baby, the length of the baby, and a number of other details. I’m the father of six blessed children, and while I sometimes forget these details-mea maxima culpa-my wife never does. You see, mothers never forget the details surrounding the births of their babies.
Christmas has nothing to do with God and using it for preaching is one thing but practicing it is another. We can use Halloween to preach or other pagan holidays but it does not take the fact away that God is displeased with us by doing things that are against him. Should we sin to gain a soul, if that is the case then are we loving man more than God. Christmass biggest sin is idolatry since it came from the Catholic church and not from the Bible this cannot be removed. What happens religiously in Christian home is the idolatry of "Baby Jesus." Jesus is not a baby anymore so we cannot worship him as such. The Bible forbids idols and we bring idols into our home and say that is "Baby Jesus", we lie to our kids and say that is Jesus birthday...Lies, idolatry and paganism is Christ-mass, pray about it and seek the Lord. Remember if it was truly a day commanded by God, it would be a day of repentance and self reflect like the Bible holidays.
The origin of christmas is not as David Pawson say an English celebration called yuletide. It is correct that it is a pagan celebration of a god where pagans in this part of the year took to the forest to find a goodly tree, cut it down and brought the tree to their village, erected an altar for their god of the season, and put the tree on their altar and decorated it with colorful whatevers and did their merrimaking dances and rituals there. Animal sacrifices were made to the god of time which culminate in a wintery sadness and re-emerged in the happiness of spring beginning. The catholic, which enjoined paganism and christianity in the hope of christianizing the pagan, named the celebration christmas, a combination of the words christ and mass (masses of people, Christians and pagans celebrating together Christ and season). Later, the added days through January 6 was to connect the theorized arrival of the three magi (they call them from the word magicians because these were to them astrologers). These were actually three real kings signifying the lordship of Jesus Christ as King of kings, with their gifts of signification Christ Jesus's nobility, communion with God and His death for you and me. This in short is the background story of this christmas celebration. Nevertheless, it reminds everyone that Someone (Jesus Christ) came and gave His life as ransom for the sin bound mankind. Those that believe and hear and obey Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Amen.

That is the first resurrection. All that have been born of the Spirit, has had their first resurrection.
How ridiculous to say Christmas is not Christian but began before Christ. The clue is in the name CHRIST MASS. It celebrates Jesus Christ and relates to the Eucharist/Holy Communion. Not paganism.
Think about it. Everything he mentioned in the video, are these christmassy things even in the bible? No. Everything besides O Holy Night, are pagan. Look at the lyrics of 12 days of christmas, santa claus is coming to town, open your eyes to see these are not related to Jesus’s birth at all, just as the guy mentioned in the video! @@shaniajustina The tree and decor and candles can all be based on the Bible. Just santa is obviously a myth which has nothing to do with Christmas (originated sometime in the 16th century). Surprisingly I don't know any Christian who mentions Santa on Christmas. Weird, huh?

In the days of the apostle, many would meet in a house and would meet daily to sharpen each other. We no longer have a "church" since the church is the bride of Christ. There are more informative videos about pagan holidays than this one. Sorry Mr. Pawson. However, those that don't want to know Truth, will be blind to His Truth. I haven't done Christmas for years.
Christsmas was celebrated by the earliest Christians - the ones who were tortured for their faith by the pagan Roman Empire.

I actually hate Christmas and ever since I was a teenager. I wish it was banned completely. All the stress of Christmas is not worth it.
I know what you mean. I feel depressed and physically tired starting the month of November. And a great teacher once told me that we live in the physical, emotional and spiritual dimentions if you will and whatever manifestation happens in one, effects all of your "being" and you can easily effect the people around you aswell.

Revelation 12 v 9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth
Could this be one of the deceptions where the whole world is deceived?

Most churches have a christmas tree
They do but not all - if yours does please do explain to your church leaders that they are bringing a false pagan idol into a holy place
Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ which is Immanuel, God with us, Jesus saves us from our sins.
Until heaven and earth pass away, not one iota or one comma will go away until all had been fulfilled”
What was he saying? How did he fulfill the law and the prophets? Part of knowing this is understanding how Jesus fulfilled (and will continue to when he reigned) the Torah and prophecies so we can understand and witness to others why we know he was the Messiah.
In Hosea God said my people were destroyed for the lack of knowledge. In this generation more than ever it’s important that we can have an answer for our faith which is also in the Bible.
God bless you and your understanding!!

December 25 birth of Christ proof:
Saint Luke reports that Zacharias served in the “course of Abias” (Lk 1:5) which Scripture records as the eighth course among the twenty-four priestly courses (Neh 12:17).

Amen.
Most of the world celebrate christmas, and the world hates the real Jesus Christ and His disciples pure Gospels.

True we are to acknowledge Christmas essentially as the birth of God’s greatest gift to man, His Son. Not anything else. Not the decor. Not the tree. Not the mainstream songs that speak nothing of Jesus. “Have yourself a merry little christmas.. make the yuletide gay” ?!?!
@@shaniajustina The tree and decor and candles can all be based on the Bible. Just santa is obviously a myth which has nothing to do with Christmas (originated sometime in the 16th century). Surprisingly I don't know any Christian who mentions Santa on Christmas. Weird, huh?
