and here we figure out why 1x6 popularity sunk. People became scared of crossing paths with Baumi and his ability to turn a seemingly silly and innofensive build into a 37-5 Chainsaw Massacre XD
This reminds me about that time Baumi talked about comparing TFT to HS battleground the same analogy can be applied here
1x6 kinda like tft (limited number of talents “obvious” meta strategy/build exists which can be pull off consistently)
while
World of Dota could be compare to battleground (many pathway and high number of shenanigans can be achieved which allows chaos to thrive)
It became a bit too competitive, which doesn't sit well with the mindset of people who play custom games which is either a farming game or party games
finally an enjoyable game. good to see smiling Baumi in the opening. I'm completely agree that 1x6 is a most well-made arcade. thank you so much Sir for the positive video 😊

I played a lot of 1x6 because it is fun back when baumi introduce it, then I started playing world of dota, then after after a long time I played 1x6 for the first time again and played unranked, the thing that I noticed is that the players are so aggressive like I am playing ranked, so next game I double checked if I'm in unranked but it is still the same, so I think the new players are not having a good time because of aggressive vets. of the game mode.

Baumi is one of the most knowledge or the most at custom dota game so he always go good on all builds
It still one of the best but the start of it was more fun when roshan was a thing

I stopped playing 1x6 just for the blocked heroes, i dont like that
