bud, mine came off without the banging just some wiggling with my vice grips and she pulled right out! Thanks for the help video was great and bike sounds amazing! Had to stop after the first one because I now realized its still 6:40 in the morning and my neighbors probably don't like my drilling this early 😂😂
That’s a nice bike and it sounds great without the baffles. If I was going to go on long rides or trips I would not want to hear the loud exhaust though because it would probably get annoying after a day and give me a headache. Today’s bikes have some huge power and that would be kind of scary. 🥺
The longest ride I ever go on is about 2 hours. Don’t have much more time than that for now. I always ride with ear plugs so it is not to loud but it could get annoying if I was gone for a longer ride.
How difficult would it be to reinstall the baffles, and what tools would be needed? I’d like to take mine out and refinish the ends since they’re rusted, but don’t have any experience with rivets.
Hey Mark, sounds amazing. Just got my 750 a couple days ago and definitely going to be doing this. Looks like you live up north / UP. I'm in the metro detroit area. Going to be cruising mine on Woodward Ave all summer
Nice to see you have some fun for yourself. Look forward to the carb cleaning video, hint, hint. This Video reminded me of a favorite movie, original Mad Max!
Can anyone tell me why does the cb750 engine make a brap brap noise compared to other 4 inline one?? ìm trying to modify my kawa 4cyl exhaust to 4 to 2 exhaust and hope to have that sound, so I am confused if it will be successful or not..thnx for helping
Hi, did any of you guys have to take care about rusted out muffler? I mean the inner tube - hole on the bottom part. I have a cbx750 from 1984 and one muffler is rusted out and little pieces of rusted metal are making unpleasant noises and since “new” stock looking exhausts are expensive i thought it could be repaired by drilling out those rivets as in a video and taking the tube out, weld those holes and maybe wrapping in muffler fiberglass (if it originaly had some idk). Do you have any tips?
That stainless steel will be to thin to weld. Check with your local parts store for an exhaust band clamp for the diameter of your pipe. Make sure the clamp is turned so you don’t see the bolts. You will be the only one that notices it.
Hello all. I'm wondering if anyone knows this : Does the 4-1 exhaust system of a CB400 Super Four fit on a 4-2 CB750 Nighthawk? I'm trying to swap the system on my 750 for a 4-1 to reduce weight and noise. Would it work? Or are there better options for this? Thank you.
Don't know if it would fit or not, but I wouldn't really want to try to make it fit. Personally I would be looking at an exhaust that is made for your bike. There are lots of after market companies that make an exhaust to fit. Keep watching Ebay lots of used exhaust systems on there at different times.
Another one who has not realized that he is not alone in the world. Noise makes people sick, and anyone who hasn't understood that obviously lacks the necessary maturity to drive a motor vehicle.
I had an 81' CB750K from 1988 - 1994. Great memories!
I've got one atm very sweet machine
Thank you for the video good sir because I will be taking the baffles out of my 1982 sc night hawk.

Sounds awesome Mark
Hey man that sounds great.
What Jet are you using with the baffles removed.
I’m also in Michigan!
Using the stock jets, this older bikes always run a little rich.
had a 76' 750 four back in 85 when I was stationed in San Diego. cool old bikes, I put a kerker 4 into 1 on it.
I love the old Honda’s, I will always have this one.

I have a cb900c. Bikes sounds awesome I might try this now thanks 👍🏻😄
When you take them out you will notice a little more torque when taking off. These bikes always run a little rich and can breathe better.
@@Marksmisfitworld update spoke to couple people. carps would need a retune if you did this or would run lean or worse in some cases,
That thing sounds good! I'm an exhaust man I put custom exhaust on everything I own. Gotta hear them horses!

You are going to have a blast riding all summer. Nothing like the sound of 4 cylinders unmuffled being pushed.
back in the day those honda cb motorcycles was the shizz,i had 185 honda,my dad had a 750 four with the bags and full windsheild
Nice to see you have some fun for yourself. Look forward to the carb cleaning video, hint, hint. This Video reminded me of a favorite movie, original Mad Max!
I loved the original Mad Max movie. Hopefully I will be able to make that video this winter with cleaning the carburetors.

Just beatin' on it! Love it !
Very nice sound!!
I bought CB750 last week. It comes next week( ¨̮ )
I have always loved the CB750 that is why i bought this one.
I had a 4-2 on my 73 cb750, and I removed the baffles and it was like open exhaust with megaphones. Loud as hell!
They are loud, but they sound real nice when you twist that throttle

Sounds good 😎... Makes me wanna record my Mustang like that with my GO-PRO 😉
should make a 4 in to 1 exhaust for it. will make it sound amazing
I have been thinking about it just not sure if I want to take away the look of 4 pipes.
It would sound too modern, tho.
Exhaust mod to the new truck!!!

Cool! Can you just take one out from each side? I find mine to be a bit too polite but don’t want it to be as loud as what you’ve got here.
The exhaust should be even flowing with all of the pipes. Taking out just 2 will make it uneven and will not run as smooth as it should.
Marks Misfit World Ah. Good to know
This works the same on a 81 CB900c
Sounds great
Leave them off. A lot cheaper than buying new pipes and it sounds good.
I like the sound for sure. They will be staying off.
Why do people have an obsession with going deaf?
Loud pipes save lives
