Not sure I agree that KPI means Key Points of Interest. Typically KPI means Key Performance Indicators; however, it might be different in the ELK world.
I am a little bit dazzled. It looks like the soley purpose of elasticsearch is to analyse log files? Even with beats. CPU stats and log files. I thought it was ment to process any kind of data.
"Popular is not the same as relevant" If only youtube could understand this for their recommendations (but then again maybe its just more profitable to funnel users to the same place for ad revenue)

It is. You can use Elasticsearch for storing pretty much any kind of data.
