It was a simple and family celebration held last Sept 5, 2020❤️
Showing the very vibrant and colorful tradition of Tausug Wedding Ceremony from Pagpaygu, Pagpassal to Pagkawin.
Pagpaygu ay ang pagpapaligo sa bride at groom para sa purification at paghahanda sa pagkawin.
Pagpassal ay ang symbolic process ng paglilinis at pagpapaganda sa bride at grom.
Pagkawin ay ang proseso na pagpapakasal sa mga muslim kung saan ibibigay na ang Wali sa groom mula sa parents ng bride. Ang Wali ay ang consent kung saan pinahihintulutan na sila ikasal. At ang pinaka importante na proseso sa Pagkawin ay ang Pag Ba’tal o ang Nuptial Touch. Pagkatapos ng Pag Ba’tal ay officially kasal na ang bride at groom.

Hello bai. Assalamu Alaikum. Nagbabakasakali lamang po na mapansin niyo po ang mensaheng ito. Taga Brgy. Lancheta, Tacurong Sultan Kudarat po ako bai. Baka po mabigyan niyo kami ng tubig dito po banda sa may bundok na po ng Lancheta. Pag kumukuha po kase kami ng tubig ay bababa pa kami ng ilang kilometro bago po kami makainom, makaligo, at marami pa pong iba. Kaya naman po ang tulong na po yan ay malaking bagay para po samin.
