Heck yes! Gives me motivation to finish my car.
Nice update.
What trans is it? If its a th400, change to a 2 speed valvebody. Then you can throw the kitchen sink at it on the leave. 2nd gear in a th400 is more efficient that 1st gear in a glide.
That’s in the plans for this year. It needs a new valve body anyways bc this thing has a horrible delay on the shifts & transbrake release. I just feel like the 1.48 leave is gonna dog this 4.8. I’m gonna have to leave on 25lbs for it to move lol. But at least I’ll still have 1st gear if it’s not showing promise. It’ll work really well with the 6.0
@@BmoreFox Its not as slow as you think. My friends 3300lb car leaving on 14psi with a 6.0L and a 3.89 gear has been 1.30. You can try it out with your existing valvebody by just holding the brake and shifting to 2nd to launch
@@drother that’s what I do already & it kills it lol

Here is said pass lol. 14 psi, 4600 rpm, no launch retard and a loose converter (and a radial prep track with a slick)
Let’s goo
Good to see you back out car looks good 👍
All the local tracks were closed and we needed to shakedown our car on 26x8.5” radials (RMRW class tire). They seem to work surprisingly well!

Yessir!!! Awesome video!!! Keep them coming!!!
Don't go postal
That thing must be real week
If its leaving like that at 4200 and 13lbs. It should leave way harder
Depends how much timing is pulled.
#1 that depends on the converter. a 2 step can build more boost than the converter can handle at that RPM
#2 its a 4.8L, it only moves so much air
put a Glide in it
