Wrong information, Bachelor or Masters in Canada for Canadian citizens is not cheap, it is expensive even for Canadian citizens. And getting admission in public university is not easy because for a seat if the university can charge double to an international student why they will offer that seat to a Canadian citizen. It is a loss making proposal for public or private universities in Canada. Hence, u won't find any Canadian citizens in those Canadian universities. Hi, I'm your subscriber from India. I want to know, that does every work permit needs LMIA? OR there are work permits which doesn't require LMIA? Does closed work permit need not LMIA?
This is not true, I am sure you are benefiting from the free Healthcare, free schooling and the $550- plus (depending on the province) you get every month from the Canadian government for each child you have. Ontario and quebec pays much more.
Because our work permit expired and we lost our medical benefits but anyhow I made it very near to my delivery date like 3days before it. After so many calls and letters and papers. If I didn’t get at that time then it would be very expensive hospitals bills and all. If you are not PR you struggle with doctor appointment and finding doctors initially. However child benefits and schooling Medicail they come second.
@Ravinder Kaur I empathize with you, due to your situation. But, you can not make a blanket statement, making it seem like it's hard having a baby in Canada. Yes, inflation is kicking everybody's butt all around the world. However, I way an international student who brought my 2 kids here as a single mother. They were not citizens, but I was able to get medical attention to them easily without charge, and after 18 months of living here, we qualified for the Canada child tax benefit (which helped us out a lot). They key is to never be out of Status in any country, because it will be very hard to get any free services you need.

Child born in Canada ( indian parents) would not have any benefits of Indian Govt, I presume. And how long can a Canadian citizen live in India continuously?
With OCI that canadian citizen can't apply for govt jobs, can't buy agriculture/plantation land, can't get admission in govt university or college in a subsized rate. Average fees in public Canadian university is 50,000 CAD to 100,000 CAD for a Bachelor degree or masters. And in India, in public university the average fees is 3000 Rupees for a bachelor or masters degree.

It's "birthright citizenship" NOT "birth tourism" Yes ANY child is a citizen if born in Canada or USA, BUT birth tourism is illegal! NO country offers that! Not only you will be denied Visa if you're coming only to give birth but you're likely to be charged with crime for trying to exploit the birthright citizenship clause!
The most important demerit which you missed is the child needs to keep applying for visitor visa regularly to stay in India with the parents.
