I love this game and am really glad your doing a playthough. One tip for the solo game, don't bother with the really expensive cards early in the game unless there is a big payout you can use later. You only have 14 generations and there's no way to get those 31 MC cards out in the first few generations. Immigration shuttles for example gives you a 5 MC boost and points for cities but it will cost you 31+3 if you can't get it out by gen 6 you've lost money on the card and in the solo game points don't matter. On the other hand Nitrogen rich asteroid plays right in to your corp and would be awesome even midgame.
Hmm, unfortunately (for me) I'm not a min\max gamer so I kinda just play for what I think is cool while trying to reach the goals. . . could explain why I never win using corporations! ;) Thanks for watching along!
@@PaulDarcy not really a min max player because if it were multiplayer I would probably be all over those cards even if I couldn't get them out for a while. I am kind of a sucker for the big splashy effects and I want to put them off even if it's not in my best interest. But if I'm under time/moneypressure and it just not gonna happen I don't want hold false `hope` that i`'ll get it out because it distracts from other stuff if I'm planning around one big move. Eh to each their own I apologize if I came off as implying you should play a certain way. I just watched a lot of niramas playing dozens of solo games and he does the math and until that point it hadn't occurred to me to consider that.
