I've been attending Dragon Con off and on since '97 and I've never cosplayed, but I'm a writer who goes mostly for the literature-focused programming. There's something for everyone at Dragon Con.
I remember when the Eternal membership was $250, but I was a broke college student so it might as well have been $4500.
This will be my first year going so I'm grateful for this video. I'm stressed about it. Still need to find a place to stay.

Great video! I was murdered in the Westin & Marriott Hunger Games in 2023!!!! But we scored a room for 2024 in November when the Sheraton opened up some rooms.
I have been going since 2009 and i have never cosplayed, even though costumes are some of my favorite things to see, it doesn't take away from the fun and just sheer amount of things to do.
Wasn't it fantasy starting out? But I did read the origin and saw the founder discuss it he said it was multi focused from the start because he realized back then most cons just focused on one fandom and wanted something multi fandom because a lot of people would be all dr. Whod out by the third day.
Hell the game floor is 2 floors over at America's Mart isn't it? Need to go do some more laundry so I can finish packing lol
