Please, I have been beating the snot out of mine for 6 years. Ride it first. No issues other than regular maintenance and it's simple and easy to perform. Well worth the cost. Upgrade as you chose. Get better at your riding technique before spending big bucks! Great for beginner and intermediate.
I think its pretty good for commuting, you are probably less scared to leave it parked somewhere in the public space. Performance wise it should be enough for urban settings. Strap a bike rack on it and you are set.
Ugh bad drivetrain, V brakes on 500$ bike c'mon it's not 2010, ''shunfeng'' at least they can put real Shimano freewheel, doesn't worth the money. 250-300 tops

Can you damp the fork? I tried to push down but not working.
What are some good online bicycle forums?
seems like a $250 bike to me
Probably worth it to spend a little more. Those components aren’t very good at all.
