My comment about conscripts becoming career soldiers actually does NOT apply to 2020. But it applies to every GPS edition prior.

Niceeee, I've always been confused on how to actually do an invasion without major losses.
I would love a multiplayer game with this much depth. Imagine being a few friends, lets say 5 for this example. Every player could pick their own faction in the same country they support and then all compeat for the power in that country. Say someone is a monarchist and want to get a king ont eh thron, someone is a liberal next is a republican and another is a straight out communist. Maybe 2 ppl will be on the same side of a faction and together lead a revolution. Would be some epic stuff
The earlier GPS games before Power & Revolution had multiplayer. They removed it for this title for some reason.

I thought that after their time in service conscripts become reservists. That's how you get more of them, but I could be mistaken.
In real life in specific countries in Europe? Yes. In most countries w/ conscription? No. In this game? If yes then that's news to me. I have tried to find a way to increase that number since GPS2: Rulers of Nations. To no avail =\
so one cheese tactic i like to use, is if you’ll notice the more units you order at once the longer its going to take for them to actually be delivered to your military. if you need more equipment quick its much better to make many multiple smaller contacts then larger ones. at least as of the 2019 edition that is.
its best you use god and spy to simply force the contracts though. that’s pretty much the only thing i use god and spy mode for other then occasionally turning the money printer on and going full jerome on my economy lol.
Yep I utilize the contract quirks all the time.

this games so bad but its so good at the same time lol. i’ve got easily over 1000+ hours starting from masters of the world to the 2019 edition of gps4.
@Tyler Puckett Well this was more of a "beginner" military guide so I left out min-maxing things like that. I believe I also left out that more amounts tiny stacks can conquer a city with ease, but that less amounts of giant doomstacks just get slaughtered.
I started with Rulers of Nations and have played all the way through into including the 2020 edition. Some bugs have been resolved, some are still there, and so many new ones have been added. It's been 11 years since Rulers of Nations lol...and the biggest change they've made is removing multiplayer. =\

Conscription is another way to get very fast soldiers. Unemployment rate being higher helps too. Also the wages of everything else being lower.
What a video super great and straight forward now I understand the game better. can you do a secret service video to really tell us how to fight terrorist in the game.
Glad you enjoyed it and that it helped you. I could make a terrorism tutorial, but it would be pretty short. Maybe if I included fighting militant terrorists as well I could extend it to at least 10 minutes. I will think about it.

S400 is best middle system this is why they get rank 4. Also Russia and China have superior long range middle tech than USA. We are still using tomahawk from ships and no long range air to air in real life anymore since Phoenix

Definitely not lol. It was bought for me and I still feel scammed lol. It barely adds anything and is just as broken.

No. That's not a bug. That's just a poorly written saving system. Unless they make a sequel instead of another "edition" dlc then that's baked in. These devs are very lazy though.

Help need to ask a question. What is the Difference between Rank 1,2 & 3 soldiers? I am doing a North Korea Run with full militarization focus. I have abolished National service and am investing in modernizing the army & developing my own arms industry. I have Rank 2 Soldiers while the South Koreans have Rank 3 soldiers. I don't Understand are my soldiers better or theirs and if i wanted how to change ranks of the soldiers?
Higher rank number is better. You unlock upgrades very gradually.

Pro-nounced Reservists is Reserve-vits. So like reserve as in been in reserve, Hold the kicker in reserve, then vits. Re-serv-its. Maybe it's an American thing?

Does Power and revolution have BTRS?
No. It only has generic unit types. No specific designs.
You know, an interesting playthrough would be playin as Saudi Arabia. Create the Arabian Empire, that would be epic.
Saudi Arabia is actually one of the 2 or 3 countries I have narrowed down my next playthrough to potentially being. It's the one I have been leaning towards the most too.
This game still mix their language with French even though its English
How do you level up 1 star soldiers
From what I've told they level up over long terms of peacetime. I've never seen it happen though cause I go to war regularly in this game.

Hm, I don't think you realize that there are different kinds of of the football despite me just mentioning them. "Football" universally is a shortened version of whatever version of football is the most popular in a given region these days. In USA, that would be gridiron football (other parts of the world shorten this to "gridiron" or lengthen it to "North American football". In many other parts of the world it is association football (soccer). They are ALL named football. We don't call "football" "soccer". We call "association football" "soccer". It is a Birtish word; not an American term. The rest of the world called it that too for most of the last century until the late 20th century (when the UK lost control over most of the world) when shortening things into "football" instead of by the first half of the name AKA Gridiron, Rugby, and Soccer- became more common.

whats the best strat to invade china? Every time my units get close, they are absolutely slopped on by chinese missile defenses.
In this game missiles are devastating, but only to stacks. The absolute best way to negate what missiles can do is, rather than to stray towards sending massive 100,000 unit stacks, you should be sending 100 1,000 unit stacks instead. If the missiles will wipe out 15k per hit then they will be reduced to 1k per hit.

Well they release a new "edition" every year so with some updates so you could always buy the newest one.

Uhhh....do you like geopolitical/grand strategy games? If so, GPS is definitely worth trying out at least one version of. It's one of the most unique ones out there. But if you have a low tolerance for bugs, just note that Eversim doesn't bugfix nearly as much as other grand strategy devs. And, when they do, they do it in a new edition and make you pay for it like a standalone expansion.
