@@CropCeruse I can’t speak for the pc experience bc I only play on mobile, all I can say is that my ping is definitely better (tho I’ll have my spikes where it becomes unplayable for a few seconds, however that’s only happened to me twice) and I’ve always played with “performance” graphics which are definitely better quality now - the only time it becomes literal hell is if I try playing with high graphics- bc that stuff will SO lag- first time I tested it out it made my screen flash black for a few seconds, I tried playing a game with it but I noped out of that real fast - other then that tho I uh- yeah, I haven’t had any real issues, I crash still bc I’m 90% sure my phone just hates idv, but seemingly less then I use to - I’m probably one of the luckier few tho
@@kurieita7607 After the maintenance all I can say it is that Identity V is way smoother on PC, mobile is somewhat smooth because in some of my mobile matches it jumped from 102ms then 134ms to 34 and 22ms. Back then the lowest ping for 'stable' network is 85 to 67ms, so I guess still an upgrade? 🤓

@@Kaito-1412. ironically before ivy was revealed i suggested in the discord about adding a small time wall of maybe about 20-40 seconds where random spawning his pines couldnt be destroyed to prevent the first chase from pre-priming the pine only for 2 weeks later to ivys tablets to have that exact same property but better basically (i was so flabbergasted)

This update has seriously helped me so much. Playing on pc doesn't feel like I'm dropping fps every second anymore, it literally feels like I'm playing in 50ms when I have 150-200ms (due to region lol). It is a bit sometimes there sometimes not, however it will take time. Game engines aren't just successful in one day, the fact they managed to do it in 12 hours is insane. Also I've never been able to play IDV on my phone before because it was so laggy, I have a Samsung A12, and now I can play completely fine?? The change was absolutely insane, I can actually play with my friends when I'm not at home now!
The thing I was most excited about was they added new effects for Toy Merchant's S accessory, it looks so pretty. Now I just have to get my hands on it

I think the optimization improved more for the mobile players than PC players. I'm a mobile player and being able to play with better graphics that doesn't kill my ping badly is really nice, I can enjoy my accessories n skins

I've only been playing cc ever since the maintenance was finished (my territory) so I don't really notice any changes aside from there...but dude each time someone report's a body Kreacher screams can be heard 😭 also some characters hang from the top of my screen during character selection. My graphics are so blurry even though Ive set it to my usual and apparently my audio doesn't even register for some reason. My ping has gotten high significantly and even though I'm like on 90ms (which is already good for me pre new engine) I still lag here and there and it's upsetting bc my Matthias' puppets NEVER register properly most of the time
my phone is sorta new so i didnt think much of the update but HOLY everything is so much smoother somehow? the graphics look better idk if it's just me TT my ping also didnt change, i have base 140 ping like always but also! i noticed some sounds are different? i might be crazy but theres more cipher sounds and something like electricity crackles if that makes sense (heard it in arms factory and kreiburg racecourse), i also am not hearing cipher pops and that siren noise when exit gate can be opened

Weird because it made the pc performance even better but mobile somewhat had an unchangeable ping, perhaps it is overloading and needs time
