If I had to pick only no annual fee cards I think I'd go: -BILT card for Rent, Bilt Dining, and Travel -Chase Freedom Unlimited for Dining and Catchall -CapitalOne Savor for Streaming, Groceries, and Entertainment -Citi Custom Cash for Gas Great list!
No love for the Wells Fargo autograph, not surprised though. Cash back card with no foreign transaction fee, plenty of 3x categories and you can transfer the points to travel partners. And it his cell phone protection
I’m into the us bank future 4% card. I set up the requisite bank accounts and transferred 100k into an IRA to qualify. Worth the admin hassle to me to get 4% catchall card
Us bank 4 percent back makes equal to the bilt card when spending on rent which will be gone from built in few years. In addition to everything else 4 percent. 50 dollar yearly fee sounds pretty great. And i dont think us bank nerfs their cards as far as i know so pretty sweet. Might transfer my roth ira.
Fidelity Visa has to be added now that it gets you Global Entry credit for no annual fee. It's the best 2% card out there and I don't have the card. $25 minimum redemption sucks though.
And it’s a great starter card while you raise the FICO score. I think I got in while I was in the low 600s, and put a lot of rewards into FXAIX over the past six years.
Langley FCU Cash Back Visa Signature 10% on your choice each month (First 6 Months) 5% After 6 Months and Beyond Your Choice 3% on gas 2% on groceries and wholesale club purchases 1% on all other purchases
Us bank altitude connect another good cash back card. You get global entry and priority pass on a no annual fee card with no foreign transaction fees, 4x on gas and travel.
I haven't found one, unfortunately. I buy 90% of my groceries at WM (all except meat, which I get at a butcher shop). Walmart is 25-30% cheaper across the board than the regular grocery stores near, so it's worth the loss of double CC points. Still, I just hate that it's always specifically excluded.
My favorite no-annual-fee card is probably the Apple card. I am financing quite a few devices on the card. I have the Citi Double cash, but I have it since it is my first line of credit. I use my Venture X as my catch-all.
I just caved for the amazon prime card for the 200 gift card with 0 spend. Also did with the business card. 400 back for doing 1 inquiry and no spend is pretty good. Plus 5 percent off at amazon
Hey, Sebby, I currently have the Hilton Honors Card and was offered a 50k bonus to upgrade to the Surpass card after spending 3K in 6 months. I know that Amex is offering 165k for the Surpass card for the same amount but I'm in pop-up jail. I tried to apply for the 165k but was denied. Would you suggest taking the 50K and pay the 150 annual fee because of the increased multiplier. Or just wait until I'm out of pop-up jail.
I rotate based on special offers. AMEX Plat currently has an offer to get 1,200 for each $150 spent (up to 3 times) before Dec 31st. So effectively 8 pts per $. Some good Amazon deals comes to AMEX 3 - 4 times a year. Otherwise I’ve started using Cap1 VX as my default….probably half the time. Other half is some rotating special categories on Chase / AMEX. Also helps that Prime has been devalued enough to get me to cancel (and drop the 5% cash back Amazon card to just 3%).
💳 Currently I love my Savor card, although it's used mostly for concert tickets because Amex Gold benefits work for me. I also use my Custom Cash for gas, and Double Cash or Quicksilver (because no FTF) as catchall. Thinking of getting the Autograph for the only travel/transit that matches Chase travel category with no FTF and without the Amex Green acceptance problem. No interest at all in the Bilt mess.
Honestly, I'm just waiting to get the robinhood gold card. 3% everything cash back, beats any other card, short of a travel card, or hotel specific card, hands down.
I think the two BofA no fee and no category cards are better if you have any investments because they give 2.67% back on everything and you don’t have to pay for Robinhood gold.

If I had to pick only no annual fee cards I think I'd go:
-BILT card for Rent, Bilt Dining, and Travel
-Chase Freedom Unlimited for Dining and Catchall
-CapitalOne Savor for Streaming, Groceries, and Entertainment
-Citi Custom Cash for Gas
Great list!
Paying $3500-$4500 a month for rent is whack. Guess I'm living at home forever 😅
My favorite no annual cards are my two Freedom Flex cards & an old Freedom Card which feed into my Chase Trifecta (CSP, CFU, CF/CFF).
Nice!
No love for the Wells Fargo autograph, not surprised though. Cash back card with no foreign transaction fee, plenty of 3x categories and you can transfer the points to travel partners. And it his cell phone protection
It's really a great card!
Historically one of the worst banks with all of their data leaks… no thanks.
It’s WF lmao fuck WF
But the thing is you have to spend $1k just to get the bonus whereas there are other cards that offer a lower spend amount to get the same bonus
💳 another very informative video...Thanks!

Just applied for the Sapphire Preferred again! After 4 years and 2 months can’t wait for my honey moon trip to Kauai on June 2025.
I just bought two free trips to Hawaii for 2025!!! Yippeeeeee

Hi Sebastian, which cards of your 50 cards you considered are a mistake for u ?
💳 What is the card holder you have? 1:54

+1 also no foreign transaction fees

Great job on TH-cam ♥️
💳 always informative !
6:04 the IRA Account fee is waived at the 50k & above level.

💳 Do any of these grocery categories ever cover Wal-Marts?
Some neighborhood market ones code as grocery. You'll just have to try it and check the statement

BCE imo is a really good no annual fee card
What about Blue Cash Everday 😮🎉
💳 I dig my Savor, I haven't really prioritized traveling much yet. That US Bank rabbit hole is even deeper than BoA 😩
My favorite no-annual-fee card is probably the Apple card. I am financing quite a few devices on the card. I have the Citi Double cash, but I have it since it is my first line of credit. I use my Venture X as my catch-all.
*Can you please make a VIDEO on the credit cards that were MISTAKES?*

Love the Pokémon reference haha
🦆
do you get the 1% back on citi double cash if you pay with points for statement credit?
Sebby
How many credit cards your got total?
How many personal & busines each?
I heard you said over 25 personal
In 2024, I opened CFU, Savor One, Citi DC and BILT. But also opened AMEX gold and platinum. So I probably need to relax for 2 years
Should I get the chase freedom unlimited or the capital one savor?
Whichever ecosystem you have the most points in. Freedom Unlimited if you have a lot of non-category spend.
@ I currently don’t have points in either. I have a good credit score and I planning on getting one of those two.
Debating between the savor and us bank altitude connect
💳 I have the Amazon card and use it only for Amazon.
Why the custom cash over a US bank cash+?
I am having trouble seeing Park Hyatt Kyoto and Niseko availability

I love the psyduck reference 😂😂
That millennial touch ❤

we all know the best no annual fee cc is the venture x
Citi its probably the worst issuer. Save yourself a headache and avoid citi cards or any branded cards from them.
As someone with 50 credit cards I agree.
9:39 so then what card do you use on Amazon?
Any rotating 5% category card that has Amazon that quarter or flat cash back.
I rotate based on special offers. AMEX Plat currently has an offer to get 1,200 for each $150 spent (up to 3 times) before Dec 31st. So effectively 8 pts per $.

@@keltonjohnson6197i am surprised he didn’t mention BoA. Maybe he thinks the Smartly Card amd US Bank Network is better
💳
I have a question, do you know if the Chase bank offers for opening accounts with them can be earned as Chase UR points instead of cash?
Banking and checking has always been straight cash into the account for me.
@mattleathen445 thank you
