I belong to Star Alliance. I got to fly 1st class on All Nippon Airways with miles to the US. Literally everything I experience in Japan is great service. Air crew were wonderful. Thanks.
16:47 I didn't know they'd named a sake for him! Seriously, that looks rather better than most recent American flights I've been on. Rather a lot better.
JAL looks okay, you’ll pay a little more with ANA, but you will see the difference. I flew ANA my first trip to Asia and will probably never change airlines. They were without fault for the entire trip. Few airlines that can be said about.
It looks like this flight was much more comfortable than the previous one. The food also looked better, and the passionfruit mousse looked amazing. I don't like to fly- security is an issue because of my prosthetic leg. Thanks for letting us experience this with you.
What a wonderful airplane ride. Your business class seat and service was awesome and the food looked good too. The fare you paid was definitely a good one. Enjoyed seeing Tokyo from the sky. Will see you in the next one. Take care, be safe.
I recently flew on JAL from Bangkok back to San Francisco. We were on the overnight flight from BKK to Haneda. It had the Sky Suite III seats. The Haneda to SFO flight was on a 777 with the original 2-3-2 Sky Suite. As someone who is 6’2” tall, I found the original Sky Suite to be superior to the Sky Suite III for sleeping. The footwell on the III was at an odd angle and also seemed smaller, whereas everything on the original Sky Suite was straight with a good sized foot well. Service on both, as is always the case with JAL, was excellent, as was the food.
You paid for 2 business class and 2 economy flights? Can you explain that in a bit more detail? Did you buy economy and upgrade? I'm confused my friend! I did like the ZipAir option as I don't need screens in fromt of me as I carry my own entertainment and having a flat bed is awesome! They don't operate on any of my current routes, but it's nice to know they exist. JAL is, ofc, fabulous!
Love your excursions. First time I have ever seen anyone eat a sandwich with chopsticks. I see you will always find a way to "moisturize" food when curry sauce is nearby. Good humor.
It's 3 AM here and as soon as you showed the curry, i started to smell it! Turns out my neighbor is also an insomniac and was reheating some curry 😂. Such a nice trip, thank you for taking us along! 💖🙏🕊
I've never seen rice in a package like that, so cool. I imagine rice is like bread, so many different types. Maybe you could teach us more about rice.🍚 i use noise canceling headphones (over the ear) for airplane noise. 🎧 I flew on ANA from Seattle to Jakarta, stop over in Tokyo (economy), and I loved the service. Much better than any air carrier in the US.
Loved it; surprised you didn't use the blanket. I am always cold on flights, and the food looked great. That is the most expensive item since booze was included. I'm looking forward to videos from your Bangkok and Los Angeles travels. Are you coming to Canada? Please let us know! P.S. All those Swans would be in my purse after the meals!
Such beautiful food. Looking at this, I would like to fly JAL as well. Unfortunately, we have only European airlines over here. The only downside: It's a little bit pricy.
I'm looking forward to your LA videos, since that's the route that we fly when visiting Japan. I hope you get to try some delicious curry while you're over here. :)
I would dearly love to know dear Solo Travel San , just exactly how many miles you have travelled .Yes, I still say miles I'm a bit of a dinosaur!! Thankyou for the glimpse into business class .
i loved the look of the Business class seat. i love those little private corner looking seats. and the food looked amazing - even though i had no idea what half of it was. but you said it tasted good. when the bed was made up, was it just a thin blanket and a pillow, sometimes ive watched business class beds made and they put a doona on to make up the bed? look forward to your next trip - from the sounds of it... to L.A. :)
Next time you get solid ice cream on a flight, ask an attendant to put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Should soften it enough to start on it, at least. Looks like an excellent flight.
Exactly what kind of curry dish is that? I've seen you eat it a dozen times and it looks amazing. Don't think I can get something like that here in the states. What is it called or can you give me more info?
Love your content. Airplanes though are poopy no matter the class. If JAL is sponsoring understand but…….. more trains boats and unique restaurants. Cheers
Later this year I’ll be flying JAL. First time flying with them. First time in Japan. I’ll be with the losers in the back of the plane, but it’s nice to see how others live.
if you want to eat more ? ask them, they can bring something to eat...usually they have more than enough food available to Business Class.passenger. also ice cream is always no matter what air lines you take, have to be frozen , there is a good reason...but i forgot it sorry...google and check it out...
Once again, thanks for taking us with you! I loved how this plane trip looked. So comfortable, and with good food
You always treat your viewers to the best trips, meals and beautiful scenery! Thank you again! 😊
"I'm ready to eat." You are always ready to eat. One of the things I admire about you. Because I was like that when I was young. 😁

Bi sounds more like V in Japanese.
Bi = beautiful, Den = rice field
Sake is made from rice.
Thanks for watching.
Can't go wrong flying on Japan Airlines or ANA to Japan. Its worth it
ANA is better than Japan Airlines
JAL looks okay, you’ll pay a little more with ANA, but you will see the difference. I flew ANA my first trip to Asia and will probably never change airlines. They were without fault for the entire trip. Few airlines that can be said about.
Thank you. Looked luxurious to me❤
I loved having you to us on this enjoyable but bumpy ride. May the curry flow freely wherever you travel.
You got to throw in an image of Mt. Fuji. Nice.
My night is complete now. Thank you for another upload. =)

@@suesue983 Yes. The lower part of my leg is metal, and I have to remove it so the socket can be inspected.
@@amputeerightfeel bad for that since when your prosthetic is removed you have to hop on one leg(if it’s only one leg that uses a prosthetic)
@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 I have learned. I reserve a wheelchair, and carry my leg in my lap. I look weird, but it speeds things up.
What a wonderful airplane ride. Your business class seat and service was awesome and the food looked good too. The fare you paid was definitely a good one. Enjoyed seeing Tokyo from the sky. Will see you in the next one. Take care, be safe.
And the windows are so clean you can see out of them...
@@areareare9953 Very true, very true. But then I would expect no less from the Japanese.
Thank you for always making good videos! :)
!! so glad you enjoyed yourself :)
Thanks Solo San for taking us along. All the food looked great. Now go get some Beef Curry lol. God Bless and be safe.
No magic sorry.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only Australian crunching the numbers right now. 🤔
This trip has huge potential for us…….
I hope your enjoyed your trip to Thailand. Can we look forward to some Thai food tasting videos on your other channel?

Looking very nice. Thank you fir sharing a nice trip.
Very nice. Thank you.
Japanese airline food looks amazing…
the meals look so delicious and fresh. I would love to flyJapan Airlines soon
Such a lovely and luxurious flight ✈ I have never noticed how green Tokyo is from the air, on and around all the buildings 🌳🪴🌱 Beautiful 😍 🇯🇵💚🤘
You know it’s gonna be a good day when Solo-san uploads! 🥰
Looks totally YUM!
Nice video! Please, don’t erase it never, never.
Very interesting. Nice job. 🎉

I booked through Japan Airlines website (multi cities booking).
I didn’t upgrade. Thanks for watching
Used to watch your video taking ferries to now airline business class. Really proud of your achievements.
Wow That plane was really shaking. 😮
Oh beautiful! everything was so lovely, and looked delicious. And so roomy!
Your meal looks so inviting and refreshing , enjoy my friend

This plane trip looked fantastic! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Looks great!
I trust you had a great time in Thailand.
i love your videos. the background noise doesn t bother me at all.
It's 3 AM here and as soon as you showed the curry, i started to smell it! Turns out my neighbor is also an insomniac and was reheating some curry 😂. Such a nice trip, thank you for taking us along! 💖🙏🕊
That's a excellent and serene flight.
Amazing and awesome and absolutely cool. Love this journey! 👍👍
The best thing about landing at Haneda is seeing a glimpse of Mt Fuji peeking through the clouds at sunset!
Fabulous my friend enjoy it you deserve it much love from USA be safe and have fun for me as well ❤❤
🥂 Kenpai! Nice flight! When you're in LA, I hope you get to see ⚾ Otani play! 🧢😎✌️
Nice plane trip,delicious food
Thanks I really enjoy sitting in my lazyboy chair watching. Not having to go through all the checks etc. 😅😅😅😅 Laurie NZ

A great experience I certainly enjoyed my Business Class flight on British Airways from Manama to Heathrow. A bucket list dream - tick. ❤❤👋👋👵🏴
I am planning my next trip to Japan. It seems JAL or ANA is a good choice of flight.
So much food...yum yum
I love my ice cream like that! I prefer it over soft ice cream.
Damn almost $3000! You're spoiling us now!
Tasty!! Again I probably would pick the western meal because I don't like seafood very much...
Loved your two recent airplane videos! Curious to know what fun things you did and ate in Bangkok 😊
2700 for business class wow
Hope you enjoy Los Angeles! I️ am here. I️ just visited Japan and loved it. LA is not as nice as Tokyo.
Mouth watering !!
Can we update your name to Curry Travel Japan?
That chopstick holder is cute af! Can you keep it?
As soon as I saw curry on the menu I knew. The zoom in just confirmed what I know - STJ loves his curry. 😁
So we gonna get a Bangkok and LA food/exploration video?
Such beautiful food. Looking at this, I would like to fly JAL as well. Unfortunately, we have only European airlines over here. The only downside: It's a little bit pricy.
14:53 that food looks amazing
I'm looking forward to your LA videos, since that's the route that we fly when visiting Japan.

This was much more interesting and appetizing than the closed captioning would have one believe. Because “Far Breath Haul”? Just doesn’t sound tasty.
I would dearly love to know dear Solo Travel San , just exactly how many miles you have travelled .Yes, I still say miles I'm a bit of a dinosaur!! Thankyou for the glimpse into business class .
i watch a few japanese youtubers... every single one is a complete addict for curry rice. haha.
Great flight, great food, and great amenities. Wait a minute, are you also flying to LA? Interesting
Ok, hear me out: STJ’s next trip is on ANA’s Pikachu Jet. I think this is the crossover we all need.
I saw passion fruit mousse on the menu. I’m interested in finding a recipe so I can make this dessert at home.
Chicken curry, for breakfast?
1-2-1 is the best configuration for business class. Too many airlines try to do 2-2-2- or even 2-3-2 and it just doesn't work as well.
I also will not file business 2 when solo. Do not want to sit next to a person for 12 hrs.
i loved the look of the Business class seat. i love those little private corner looking seats. and the food looked amazing - even though i had no idea what half of it was. but you said it tasted good. when the bed was made up, was it just a thin blanket and a pillow, sometimes ive watched business class beds made and they put a doona on to make up the bed? look forward to your next trip - from the sounds of it... to L.A. :)
Fujusan was in stealth mode! Lol. The food looked really good. And the seat looked very comfortable. (CHICKEN curry?)
Next time you get solid ice cream on a flight, ask an attendant to put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Should soften it enough to start on it, at least. Looks like an excellent flight.
🤣 yeah because they don't have anything else to do but see who wants their ice cream melted a bit
Amusingly, I had a similar problem with one of those little H-D cups, though mine was bought from the grocery store I work at in the US. :-)
Exactly what kind of curry dish is that? I've seen you eat it a dozen times and it looks amazing. Don't think I can get something like that here in the states. What is it called or can you give me more info?
On the next episode of STJ: KARE RAISU OVER THE PACIFIC Don't miss it!!
I’ve never had curry but it looks great!
which plane is this ?
No pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast?!?
Overall looks good. I do find the seat a bit small. The meal shown on the video I would pass. Not a fan. I think I would have the Miso soup only.
damn solo-san cookin these days
Love your content. Airplanes though are poopy no matter the class. If JAL is sponsoring understand but…….. more trains boats and unique restaurants. Cheers
I always wonder what will be more, the views on your video or the calorie count from your trip. 😂
Later this year I’ll be flying JAL. First time flying with them. First time in Japan. I’ll be with the losers in the back of the plane, but it’s nice to see how others live.
If you fly JAL, you may be able to use the JAL Japan Explorer Pass. You can purchase a JAL domestic ticket at a discount.
14 hours here we come
u have 2 pay for wi-fi? wow
Okay so you went to Bangkok to catch a flight to LA and then on the way back from LA you just won't take the flight to Bangkok and stop in Japan?
if you want to eat more ? ask them, they can bring something to eat...usually they have more than enough food available to Business Class.passenger. also ice cream is always no matter what air lines you take, have to be frozen , there is a good reason...but i forgot it sorry...google and check it out...
One ice cream a day?! Well, you pass severel time zones, so you also pass several "days". No need to shorten out the ice cream! 🤪
what was the snack you had with your wine? It looked like some nuts and bread/pretzel sticks...
Nuts and assorted rice crackers.
@@SoloTravelJapan I thought it was something like that. Thanks!
"One ice cream a day." Sacrilege! It is smaller so maybe two a day.
A curry map of important curry locations would be fun.
Kanpai
How did we guess that you would have 2 servings of curry for breakfast?!
So you're telling me Zipair, their low cost subsidiary, offers free-wifi even in Economy, but JAL doesn't? Very odd choice.
Where is the women's bath?
Which airline makes the best curry?
ANA or JAL?
