One of the best things about the skate culture is the brotherhood. Everyone is routing for you and everyone understands the risks involved. It’s great how all the friends share in the glory after their buddy rolls away from a big trick. Awesome. No competition even tho many of them are technically up in the air for sponsorships and what not. They never forget that most of them were street rats and nothing really separates them from each other for that reasons. Shit is sick.

It is a beautiful day here in Manhattan ( NY) and I am going skating in Fort Tryon Park( THE "A" train drops you off right there people). It's smooth and hilly/swurvy with a few sets of stairs/high ledges for the brave/insane, not a lot of push back from the fuzz and not too too much foot traffic!!!
