Ash, I enjoyed watching the Midi-File. And I found out that the composition consists of more than 300 tracks. I have a question (just for interest) what is the RAM of your computer? Thank you!
Congratulation Ashton, if all sounds I eared comes from home made mockup by your only talent and ears...HZ need you in his team for sure. Thanks for you sharing.
Absolutly amazing. When i was 16 i read the first novel. Within 2 years finished all books. Frank Herbert would be very proud of your work and all people involved making this film happen.
Absolutely amazing! The only downside is that you've just made me want to rewatch the film right now for the billionth time... but it's 2am here! No! At least I can look forward to watching it later tonight. :) Again, brilliant work -- and really great editing as well! Your videos are always very inspiring.
Nice job! Though I was hoping to hear some bagpipes...mainly cuz I don't know how to get that sound without a bunch of real bagpipes and I don't know of any "bagpipe ensemble" libraries lol
@@joeloforii I listened to it on the Song Exploder podcast (Spotify), but there was no host-guest interaction so the audio could've been from anywhere. I'm sure you'll find it.
Great job! As soon as I saw / heard the movie I wanted to try to replicate the unsual beat of the drums / tam tams that plays a couple time in the movie. It sounded so freakin loud in the Imax cinema! 🤯😳😎
Absolute master remix man! Keep it going!!!! But in my opinion u missed the opportunity to use the Atreides Hymn which in my opinion is glorious 😂 still big props man!
thank you ashton zimmer 😄 could you explain with a tuto what kind of vst you use ! i think it's more important than the midi because i learn a lot of yours "Behind the score" in my opinion your tutorials are the best on youtube for anyone who wants to learn film music composition
i work with logic too in the midi file there are a lot of inst .....files but I don't know what Vst and instruments to use is it possible to have a .logicx of your project like in the good old days🤔

Hans Zimmer takes us in one mystical journey through Arrakis. This score really surpassed my expectations. My greatest respects for him.

Dang son! Its spot on.
Hello, I am back again to sing my praises. I love your improvised ending. I would love to hear an extended edition!

The bagpipes in the score are actually electric guitars imitating them. HZ talks about it in a breakdown.
@@snarf1504 do you have a link to the breakdown?
