Dean Forest Railway - "Steam In South Wales" Autumn Gala - 14/15th October 2023

Filmed over the 14th/15th October, the Dean Forest Railway held their first Aurumn Steam Gala. The theme for the gala being "steam in South Wales" With an intensive timetable, and 5 locos in steam including Bagnall 401 'Vulcan' visiting from the Embassy & Bolton Railway, Rosyth No1 from the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway & 1340 'Trojan' courtesy of Didcot Railway Centre. The home fleet locos were 5541 & 9681. Footage taken at various locations along the line. Thanks for watching.

Oh yes I remember at 23:15 we’re Vulcan runs round at norchard low level you can see me (with the black backpack) and my others friends. Still had an amazing day there!

Yeah I was up there on 14th, had to see Vulcan and the devilish Trojan again, Rosyth being the new face for me. Weren’t bad day got few good photos and videos, one of which was Trojan sitting next to Morris pickup. Sadly, 5541 failed on the day due to springs failing as well as Trojan being a very bumpy ride in the observation coach. Despite that was good day.
