Oh you pour thing! I developed 4 herniated disks from a car accident. You absolutely can not understand that pain untill you have experienced it. I will be praying for quick healing and recovery for you.

The petal that had no cells really has that watercolour look! It’s beautiful, Lisa and I like that you are exploring more ways to use the bloom technique, keeping some of it but adding variations 👍🏼

I was getting very nervous, watching you lift those heavy, full paint tins. You have entered the dangerous stage of your recovery, Lisa. Where we start to feel better, the pain has eased a little, we have energy to burn, because we haven’t been able to do anything. That’s when we feel, ‘I can do that’, only to discover, we have overdone it and aggravated the injury. Possibly setting ourselves back, with the healing. Please slow down, Lisa and listen to your body 🙏. I love the whole concept with the water colour and your first piece looks amazing. Looking forward to Saturdays video. Yes, I would watch an hour long video, if you painting 🤣. Take care lovely lady ♥️💥🙏💐💐

I always loved the wicked witch of the East’s black and white striped stocking’d legs sticking out from where Dorothy’s house landed on her with the ruby shoes on her feet! Also the field of poppies that put them all to sleep. I like the idea of what you are attempting to do. A watercolor bloom! I’ll leave a comment when you finished your just to the part of pouring the pillow onto the round so the video is not over yet! Lol I just wanted to comment first on what I remembered from the Wizard of Oz.

Hi Lisa, I'm fuming right now. I just watched a recent video, maybe the previous or next one but I have to comment. Sorry if I'm commenting on the wrong one. I know this happens a year ago but I'm watching them all. I'm new to painting. I've watched Olga and Molly and a bunch of other guys n girls but you are my favorite because listening to you (never ever bored, ) makes me happy.your videos are my favorite because you can go for 3 or 5 paintings in a video. Here you are with a bad disk tryin to paint and you have to listen to that bull pucker! I come here FOR all those qualities you were talking about. I watch and giggle with you because you are happy and funny and so talented. The gift you give me is a few hours a day of NOT feeling alone. You are my art video Queen. Please don't be worried about not being accepted by those jealous witches. You are a companion to us during these videos and your joyful was are appreciated more than you know. Screw em!! I love you just as you are.❤

I really enjoy watching you mix. I LOVE mixing! Just thought I'd share my theory on getting the same consistency between my colors: we always have two components to our p.m.'s - one thick, one thin. So, I mix tube paints with the thinner component, the varnish until it is the same consistency as the p.m. and then add the appropriate amount of p.m. To disperse pigments I add them into a small amount of the p.m. that I reserve for all pigments because it is essentially un-tinted tube paint rather than un-tinted house paint (either Vivid Polypour or Vivid enamel mixed with Polycrylic) and then add more p.m. With fluid paints I mix them with a little of the un-tinted paint only until it is the same consistency as the p.m. and then add the p.m. This was a game changer for me and took the stress out of consistency woes which made mixing paint a chore. Now I just need to get the European pillow paint blues to quiet down! Great stuff as always Lisa. Thank you!

Hi Lisa! Herniated discs are awful - I’ve got 6 permanently bulging discs in my back so pain is almost constant (and fibromyalgia on top) so I feel your pain (almost literally!!)
Loved watching your experiment and would definitely love an hour but I’m probably a bit of a connoisseur of fluid art videos and as a singleton with no kids, I have time to watch them too! 😂 Hope you’re not still struggling with back issues when you read this as I realise I’m on catch-up with your work! 😊

Unfortunately I'm right there with you on the back pain so I know that you need to rest as soon as the pain starts or else you are going to over do it. I have already had a MRI and a CT. The part of my spine that is supposed to curve is now growing straight. The Dr's are going to start with injections of cortisol and if that doesn't work it will be surgery for me. Please go easy on yourself and don't push to the limits Lisa.

befor I bought the shelee course I copied what a youtuber tried (a recipe they were trying to mimick shelee's) & they used water and white paint for cells & it actually worked for me for some of the time)
So you're using more joso to untinted base? but keeping the amount of tube paint a good ratio to prevent cracking?

I don't know if it wasn't for watching you mix a pigment I want to know how to do it so I'm glad you saw it you might think it's boring but it's a learning experience I know you're not going to get to feel the pain unless you do it yourself but like I said I didn't know you had to mix pigments with the dress on you and I'm glad I waited because I had bought the stuck up piggies and I did not want to waste them SSO Thank you
