- Caitriona Balfe plays Claire Fraser in the wonderful tv show Outlander. I not only love her as an actress but as a woman. I admire her believes and what she thinks. I love her clever answers in interviews. I think she has such a powerful vibe and i admire her for that. Her simplicity is charming and beautiful. I put together some of her smart answers in interviews. Some of my favorites.

The Outlander producers really hit one out of the park when they cast Sam and Caitriona. Both are such down-to-earth people with great acting skills and wonderful charisma! And, of course, there are so many other great actors on this show!
Barbara Eaton yup, they hit a jackpot on casting Jaime and Claire. Now I cant imagine anyone else playing them! 😊

My daughters and myself watch every episode together and make an occasion of each one. We love the whole cast as they all make the show a riveting thing to watch. Thanks to everyone involved. X

Her accent was almost American in the first interview clip.
A light Irish accent often sounds American. A heavy Irish accent, not so much 😄

I wish they had found someone else to play Claire. I noticed the Irish accent from the first episode of the series. That is not the main thing I do not like
about her. She is fine having an accent since she is Irish, but she is playing an Englishwoman
Her English accent in the show is perfectly fine (and I'm English, me... I am..!)😄
