Hey cool unboxing video! Actually, a mix between the SP Props ans the KR's finish would be super accurate to the hero prop used for TFA. I find it quite disappointing that SP props didn't give the black finish a bit more shine to replicate an "used" paint Also, the body grip should look thinner, but I think they didn't narrow it too much to make the install easier. Could you make the comparison video that you were thinking about doing?

Honestly either choice would be great, if you wanted to be able to add your own sound fonts and not need a degree to learn how to do it , then CFX is best, however proffie will come already set up with awesome fonts and settings from sabertrio but to add your own fonts after will take a lot of time to learn.

I must not be the only wanting a video between this and KR ver.(if Khal ever release it again) When the comparison comes I'd like to hear in detail the shortcoming of the Krorsguard, is the rattling because of the install, or the hilt itself? And I gotta say personally that weathering on the Krorsguard is so on point for TFA, I personally like it very much. The weathering on the V3 kinda look like Black Series to me lol. Can I ask where you got the KR vers. weathered?
The KR was weathered by The Proplicator, unfortunately I’ve sold the KR now so I won’t be able to do a comparison video anymore but you can sum it up to this; the KR is a beautiful hilt and is super screen accurate and so is the V3. The V3 however is built in a way that it is much more sturdy and solid. The KR is not so solid. I much prefer the V3 over the KR.

And thanks for the reply, I've been collecting the black series because I never knew these sick sabers existed until like this black friday. Your reviews and Lando's guide are immensely helpful for a beginner like me, that wants the most accurate hilts. 👍

Koop, planning on hopefully getting a sabertrio saber this release, as a person newer to this whole stuff should I go with cfx or proffie?
i recommend CFX for beginners because it's very simple to learn in just about a day

When is the comparison between The Darkness v3 and the Krossguard?
What is the width across the side blades and overall length? Looks pretty close to the KR,but maybe with shorter side emitters?

$1730 will be installed with electronics, the other is just an empty kit
