In a spirit of fairness I have just finished watching/listening to other versions of this duet, including a well-known movie version. You see, I have loved Jonas Kaufmann's voice for such a a long time that I wonder sometimes if I am being biased and just imagining that he is better than anyone else. So many times when I make a comment in support of JK there is always some, for example, Corelli fan insulting me and knocking me back. So, as I said, spirit of fairness etc.
But no! I am not imagining anything.
My God, just listen to the gorgeous tones in Jonas Kaufmann's voice. He is so stunning. So much warmth and passion. I really haven't heard that in any other tenor's voice at all. He can certainly soar up to the top notes with the best of them! Yes, there are some lovely singers and this is a particularly exquiste piece of music but, I have never heard anyone sing from their soul like this. Alongside his brilliant acting and interpretation skills he doesn't just sing Caravadossi, he IS Caravadossi and he inspires and enchants me to the heart of my being. I just can't stop listening to this wonderful performance.

Ciao, quali sono i dodgy Moment che intendi? Anche a me piace molto come canta Kaufmann e anch'io ho notato che ci sono spesso Corelliani o simili su TH-cam che cercano di stoppare l'entusiasmo
