As a well-developed nation, France should be leading the fight against climate change, not stepping back and hide behind the armenian fanaticism. This person is very ill-informed about the situation in Nagorno-karabakh. Armenia did not invade a single square meter of Azerbaijan. Nagorno-karabakh which was an autonomous region with it's own parliament under the USSR voted to join Armenia when the USSR collapsed. That's when Azerbaijanis started killing Armenians everywhere including in Baku. War insued, by Nagorno-karabakh and Azerbaijan when the Armenians of Nagorno-karabakh won. Nagorno-karabakh has been Armenian for at least two thousand years. So the minister knows nothing of the history. Armenia never invaded Azerbaijan.
I am really concerned by the true situation related to politicians in France as per revelation of Mr. Lalonde. Politicians not only must remember the real story of events, but also must know the historical incidents and laws. Otherwise they become promoters of the law of force, which some their representatives actually did within a notorious Minsk group. If it is a real level of the politicians there, it is disappointing and dangerous at the same time.
