Others have said it already, but it has to be said again that this is simply amazing playing for an 11-year-old. Only the endings of the Scarlatti sonatas betray that he is still a boy. All else (and the Carl Vine, to be found elsewhere on YT) is the work of a mature artist. Mind-blowing.

@onlymusiciansallowed Ik ben er wel vrij zeker van dat er misschien andere kinderen technisch moeilijkere werken spelen op 11 jarige leeftijd, maar qua muzikaliteit is dit toch eerder een uitzondering. En techniek is voor mij goed als enkel de muziek overblijft. Je mag niet het gevoel hebben dat iemand aan het spelen is, het moet naturel zijn en daar slaagt hij in. Hij is een eerlijk man met noten....;-)

Why is that ignorrant? I'm a fan of classical music but prefer artists who attempt to create their own original pieces of music, anybody can be taught to copy another artist's work true talent lies in creating something original.
