perhaps this just was a bad day. I saw them several times live, and there joel sounded perfect, maybe just more freakin´ out and rocking his ass off, than in studio versions ;)
i've seen this band live and it's true, sometimes he has a bad voice because of all the concerts. But when i went to see them the voice was almost perfect like in the studio.
I‘m so fckn tired of hearing this. First of all it‘s true, that almost no Video of them playing live sounds anything like it does when you‘re there. And,… as Matias already mentioned; if you have seen them playing live,…. check the tour plan. It‘s not unusual for them to play almost every night. So it might be, that they had to play two or even three evenings in a row,… add a bad day, or a bad sounding venue,…. So far, I‘ve never been disappointed by Joels voice live in concert.
