    I guess I am a bit surprised. You see I have seen this done by sewing all the pedals together then placing interfacing on top of right side, sew all around, then slit the center of interfacing and turn right side out. That may be a little easier for you. but thank you anyway for the tutorial.

    Hello ! Thank you for teaching this and others,.I have followed most if not all of your work. My question is where do you find the glue tube, with the tiny hole. I have tried many but all have been to large. I have been so frustrated that I have even used pins and / or toothpicks ,..which is very time consuming. When I get everything pretty secure to stitch ,I am done and don't dare to do any more for two or three days ..Thank you

      I've been considering carrying these in my shop as they are so hard to find. I'll let you know when they are available!

    you can find the Elmer's glue stick in Michaels, Walmart . Be sure to get the washable, it will be on the package if it is washable or not.
    you don't have to use the expensive kind they tell you to use.
    The Elmer's is cheaper and just as good.

    Thank you for the video. I found 30 Dresden plate flowers that my late Momma had hand pieced together. How can I attach these to the block without losing the hand stitching?

      You can glue them to the block and then hand stitch around the outer edges. You can also machine stitch. The hand stitching will still be in the blocks even if you machine stitch them to the background.

    I would like to tackle the dresden plate QAYG quilt, but I'm afraid that the materials needed and even the videos will disappear before i can finish. I like your color choices as well and want to use those or similar. Maybe I'm worried about nothing!

      Yes, you can most definitely get started! The videos will remain online, along with the posts indefinitely!

    Leah, Did you "quilt as you go" with each block?

    • @LeahDay
      @LeahDay 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, these blocks are all quilted separately and then we'll cut them down and piece them together to make the finished quilt at the end!
