i’m interested to know what two chords you are switching back and forth between in the intro and throughout the song. it looks to me like D maj 7 and G maj 7?

It's actually a Dmaj9 and Gmaj7, but for the D maj 9 you only play three notes (D (5th string), C# (3rd string) and E (2nd string) - hope that helps!
