I keep hearing from Airbus homers how horrible the cabin experience is on Boeing aircraft, but even the old 747s I've flown on were quite quiet. These -8s, wow. Smooth as silk.

$512 canadian for a premium economy upgrade on an international flight ain't bad! I would of taken that offer 😁 the queen never dissapoints on take off!
There is NOTHING to translate Duh Duh, if u cannot understand two very simple words, then you need to return to grammar school and begin again to learn basic Deutsch, basic Francés, basic Italiano, basic reading of simple words, etc

Whats the hurry to take such a 180 deg hard turn without gaining proper altitude. The flight seems to be less than 1500 feet. It feels like something is wrong with the flight and pilot is returning in emergency.

it's nice to look out the window of a plane in (high Def ) without Leaving my couch. I do miss the feel of takeoffs though. the for the vid.

When do they pull in the slats on a 747-8? Seems like he had plenty of speed by the time the video ended, but they were still deployed.
I think they reduced to flaps 5 ( you can hear it at 5:27) and hold the speed to 250 kts by increasing the climbing rate until 10 thousand feet
