The quoted ranges on remotes is always the MINIMUM it will work in a straight line of sight. The reason for having a powerful transmitter that works at ranges beyond what is needed, is because then they will work with trees and hedges or hills in between, although obviously at shorter ranges

There is no reason to have that caller so far away plus the sounds suck compared to foxpro.
SavageHmr actually the gc500 I find superior to the fox pro models. Works well for me.
