As a commanders fan I didn't have a dog in this fight when going to the game yesterday... Despite that, I can't belive what I saw at that game. Chris and Mike got injured. That was tough to see.
Lamar was dictating the terms to your defenders. The first TD was so open because the D was following Lamar's eyes. Same thing with the long one to Bateman. He's becoming a Maestro right in front of God and everybody.
A good team against a better team. Not just players but coaching staff. 2 interceptions by Raven's defense a-la Humphrey were overlooked/overshadowed due to Lamar and Henry's play. It was a balanced Ravens team that wasn't perfect, but just better that night.
Bowles never tried to adjust either. It was like he didn’t know what else to do. On tape Lamar feasts on blitzes. His highlight reel is full of them. In fairness, that first clip of 8 evading the blitzing defense for a 10 yard gain is arguably a sack against any other QB in the league. If I’m Bowles at that point I’m thinking about scrapping the game plan and trying to throw some different looks out there. The zone/blitz was getting smoked and the defensive backfield looked confused all night. I thought toward the end some of the DBs started making business decisions. They didn’t want to tackle Henry once he got past the LBs.
an average team ... ( at best ... ) your getting nowhere with your qb ... he's never been a winner in the nfl ... and never will be ... ravens are never getting past the chiefs ... why bother watching ...
