Hey Nich, Amazing tutorial!!!! 👏This helped me SOOOO much.. I have one question, If I want to brake things up in between sheets do I use the same formulas? Example: Have the pie chart and summery of the categories on the first sheet, then on the 2nd sheet have all the expenses. or is it a different formula? if it is a different formula do you have a video on that? and if not would you be able to do a video on that? I am not a spreadsheet guy. I used this tutorial to set up a monthly expenses sheet that I've been using for over a year. It's been great ! Started with OS High Sierra. Updated to Caltalina and Numbers 10.0. Now, table 2 categories do not automatically update (sum?) from new entries in Table 1 UNLESS, I click in the affected cell in table 2 category amount, verify the formula and then it updates. But I have to do that Every time I add something. Is there an update to the formulas for the new OS and New Numbers? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
how to make the monthly recurring expenses automatically added every month? so that we don't have to type it manually every month (such as software/app subscriptions, insurance premium, bank admin fee, etc)

When I go to add a row below and input a value in the amount column, it does not account for the new rows values in the category total table? e.g I've made 13 categories and it doesn't work past the 13th row. Any ideas? edit: Nvm, got it working by simply adding row below any other number than the last one in the list.. hope this helps anyone else who encountered this problem. tq for the helpful tutorial!

I don't understand why you are doing the long version of the formula when there is a quicker way. For copy-paste, you just right-click. Why are you doing it the long way and not the shortcut just right-click to copy-paste you just right-click. Why are you doing it the long way and that's the shortcut just right click
You lost me on the first click. I know nothing about spreadsheets . You know them very well, therefore, you can go fast and fail to explain where you get the info to add on. I’m sure if I knew how to do a spreadsheet, I would have no problem, but this did not help me to understand. I’m not illiterate to using my computer but I am illiterate when it comes to doing this. I was hoping for a video that was slower paced.

I am getting an error message for the formula A and I'm not sure why
what's the simplest way to translate it into other language? ( formula for example: it didn't read "," in pl)
OK so TIP. you can go to file -> advance -> language and change it to english so it accepts the formulas if you have it in different language
