Her having the tan skin tone, brown eyes and the spanish spelling of her name as "Marisa" (Instead of "Marissa") further accentuates her latinx identity. But at the end of the day they're just toys, and if you want yours to be white, asian or whatever else, that's cool, cause its all make believe anyway.

I wrote MGA and asked them how I can get her, and I voiced my concerns that because she was a Walmart Exclusive, Walmart might just skip over her and Brianna and get in the Pacific Coast dolls instead. Although, today I went to Michael's and they had more Christmas and Halloween stuff than they did before Christmas and Halloween. They said they just started getting them in AFTER Christmas...so the retail world is in total Chaos!

I still have her on display in her first outfit. Hoping I can get the lipliner variant that you have - mine does have lipliner but its not that pencil thin dark brown. Mine has a warmer lip but still lined. And her hair, oh my goodness! So soft and gorgeous!
I was able to wash Sunny hair without taking the buns down . Just have to be gentle with scrubbing the soap in ,but I was able to get all the gel/ glue out , and it dried fine. Winter Sunny , and Sheryl the original design is my favorite.

I totally agree with what you said about the yellows in Sunny’s clothes. Every time I’d go look for new dolls I’d always see her and pass her by because her first outfit isn’t that appealing in my opinion. I finally got her on a sale and decided to put her in the second outfit. Because of that she is one of my favorite dolls now. But out of all the yellows Sheryl is my favorite, and is also the doll I will be using for my custom mini me!

Ironically, I went to Walmart two days ago and went to the toy aisle to check for the slumber party dolls. I haven’t had any luck finding any of them, but I saw the artwork on the back of the box and got excited. I turned the box around to see-Marissa, the one slumber party doll I don’t want lmao. Her outfits just aren’t my style at all
Sheryl is the only yellow RH doll I own and I have the varient with less obvious lip liner. She's gorgeous and I feel that her hair color is the most neutral and versitle with other outfit colors out of all the RH dolls. Her outfit pieces are also amazing. My favorite RH doll that was released so far is Emi Vanda and I don't think that any doll will take her place as my favorite anytime soon unless they come out with another goth doll.
Sheryl saved the color yellow, strikingly pretty! My favorite thing about Sunny 1 was her green eyes and the lovely graphic on the back of her jacket. I’m still trying to talk myself into liking her bangs and sailor moon buns.
I have the dark lip variety of Sheryl and since I don't consider her part of my rainbow because she is so neutral looking(it's just my way of talking myself into playing with her so I don't mess up my display lolol). She is the one RH doll I actually play with and I even bought the Rainboe High Closet(for $25!) Just so I would have more clothes for her! She uses all my other girls second outfits too as outfit options since I try and keep my display dolls looking nice in one of their OG outfits🙂

Cheer Sunny is the best Sunny IMO. Sheryl's cute too. I'm curious how Sunny compares to Harper because I prefer the toned down yellow over the vibrant yellow. It does kind of bug me that Sunny has 3 jackets with a similar cut - her original second jacket, the 2nd winter jacket, and the jacket in the closet. I hope future Sunnys have more outfit variety because her default outfit is so unique.
I got the first reseal Sunny a whole ago so she doesn't have a shiny face, but what I couldn't see through the box until I got home is that she had two left shoes! I keep forgetting to ask for a right shoe but at the same time it doesn't bother me since she can but them on and off

yellow dolls 💛💛💛 i don't have any of these yet, but i found a great deal for the first release of s1 sunny. i'll remove the shine on her forehead and probably keep it on the cheeks. definitely wanna get sheryl, and marisa and harper dune if possible
sunny has such a darling face with her teethy smile & personality that i don't think any of her releases showcase well ; her makeup is okay but playing around with other colors would be perfect to tie in looks since she always has rainbow accents ,her clothes are my biggest issue though since sunny is meant to represent japanese kawaii fashion trends whilst having zero silhouettes or pieces that match that-over the top-excess energy. i also have this vision for rainbow high where we see them grow as they age into the next school years ,where sunny goes from her harajuku streetwear & into more early 90s tlc pieces because she has a lot of callbacks to that period of time but none of her outfit pieces do it for me sadly. sheryl is such a stunning doll but NONE of the stores down in florida have her with that nice lip liner ,like my main needs for her is the darkest eyebrows softly positioned with a nice thick liner & that darker gloss that some of them have marisa finally got her & she's truly so adorable which is what i love for the sportier dolls because no that many people know how to balance aesthetics like this

I love Sunny Cheer and I never would have bought her until I saw your Top 10. Are you susposed to cut off the little plastic holders around the hands/ pompoms? I think just trimming the plastic is best because otherwise the pompoms drop. Thank you for your great reviews. It definitely has set me on the path.

With series 1 sunny I only boilwashed the bottom of her hair. I kept it in its original style and it worked well for me
