This is nostalgia, truly nostalgia, the memories of racing cars at Langa Langa race course in 70 and I think early 80, I remember Vic Preston Junior was the Lewis Hamilton of those day, Thank you for the videos as well, I have been away for many years but intended to visit home soon with my daughters who have never been to Kenya, I am from Pangani and It was nice to see my neighborhood, I can't wait to visit home again after many years

Hey Ezra! Thanks for the shout out! Another great video (especially the aerial shots) of a section of Nakuru that I know very little about! The history portion was very interesting and enlightening! I've always wondered why this area is called Langa Langa! The road network is indeed impressive! There is still a long way to go with the side roads, but the network here is outstanding! I wonder whether it has to do with flooding since the area is very flat. The drainage ditches along the roads would be indispensable during the heavy rains to get rid of excess water. I imagine that before the roads and ditches were put in the area must have been very challenging during the rainy season, and also extremely dusty during the dry season! Keep up the good work young man!

I think you have combined two estates that is langalanga and freehold estate. Though they are in the same ward which is Flamingo ward and they are separated by that kanu street.
So far I know folks living in various apartments there. I have not heard some bad news from them. But ofcos, don't put yourself in risky spots. The rules of walking in town still apply.
What do you mean by they can do better? Like just being down buildings and then bring up new ones? Cos I tried looking for the space you want them to do better in in vain…

@@annea5781 that place needs to upgrade. It's no looking good having nyumba za matope around town yet public infrastructure in the area has been laid down well. Place needs to upgrade.
But this upgrade is rarely going to be initiated by the natives coz most of Nakuru homegrown folks are too comfortable, rarely seeking to grow. It's the essence of Nakuru Beyond the City series.
