When I first saw this level, I thought it'd be like a repaint of the original Caverns, but was pleasantly surprised to see it be customized so well. I like the level design overall.

This was the first level I played after downloading the editor. You did a really nice job plus I thought it was funny the keycard was laying around in a bathroom stall.

At first I thought that this was yet another palette swapped Caverns, but I realized that it has plenty of new designs in it. In other words, nice job
This is fully custom. I was originally gonna make it look like Caverns, but since it was winter I decided to change the textures.

Awesome job. You breezed thru this level. A guy from another TH-cam channel had a real hard time playing this level. Took him a few tries.
I love when the guards go "mph", it's like they are saying "well that sucks, I got shot, whatever".
Underground arctic level is something I didnt know I wanted so badly. Dope design, it would be awesome if it was bigger or maybe youre just too fast.
Don't worry, he's just naturally to good. So clearing stages for him is nothing. Its not that the levels are to long or to short, he's a quick and clean player, but this level is flipping crisp.
Can't wait for a full rom hack of GoldenEye 007.

Haah. What a wonderful job for James Bond. He sure take care of business in a covert operation for professional efforts. In fact this level is brand new that I couldn't imagine play this game to a whole new challenge.

Yay, they used Surface X. My favorite Goldeneye ost.
This track is generally called "Surface 2".
It's the dramatic version that is called "Surface 2-X", or sometimes "Surface 2 - Suspense".
Except for a few odd design choices (the slope down to the bathroom) this one feels like it could have been in the game. This author really understands the sort of minimal but different location design the original game used.

I am considering including this one in the compilation pack. There is already one in there by Zka, but obviously I would prefer having his permission before doing anything with it. Certainly a nice custom map with more going on in the design.

Sadly no, as UE4 isn't custom content friendly.

After literal thousands of hours playing this game it's easy to know where the center is.
How do u unblock the customs levels? I have the goldeneye 64. But only got until egyptian...
Custom levels are exactly that, custom levels. You can't unlock them as the game doesn't have them, they're maps created by the community.
The link to download them is in the description, you have to patch a ROM and play it on emulator or backup device on a real N64.
do u have any insight on why enemies in goldeneye cannot see/shoot u from a crossed path (fixed in PD )? like they have to be inline sight with u ,the caverns level is a best example of it ,of is the game engine thinking the edge of the walkways an actual wall ? so its an invisible wall to us
Yes, GoldenEye's engine is basically 2.5D, which means everything is on the same Y Axis. This means if there's any railing or invisible wall that stops you from moving, guards won't be able to see nor hit you. This isn't a problem on, for example, windows where you can walk through like those at Streets.
Guards can only see you if they're on the same room or on those connected to it through portals, but if you're in a different "height" (room), they won't see you.

1964 GEPD es sólo para GoldenEye y Perfect Dark. Otros juegos no funcionarán bien y no pueden utilizar ratón y teclado.

@@Artanis9202 Project64, las versiones nightly de la página oficial es el mejor para otros juegos. Igualmente, no puedes utilizar teclado y ratón. Quake 2 tiene versión de PC si es lo que buscas.
Is this on the computer? It runs so smooth. My n64 is all choppy and turns so slow
Yes, this is on PC. 1080p 60fps, the N64 can't do that.

No, they're unused models from GoldenEye.
They can be used in levels with the Goldeneye Setup Editor.

It's not that it's different I'm just using a wider field of view here, so it shows more of the weapon

Very cool. So how can we get these levels? I'm assuming you can only play on the PC and not the original console. It would be amazing if you could get an actual cartridge for the N64 that had these new levels. Anyway, very fun to watch and amazing skills.
You can download the levels in the description, they're always included along a tutorial on how to install them. You can indeed play them on a real N64 if you buy an EverDrive64 or another backup device. There are some people selling cartridges with mods installed on them but they're not too ethical as they're profiting off of other people's work, can't re-write them in case of an update being released, and are not properly tested for compatability.

How do you create this level?
I don't make the levels unless stated in the description. They're made with the GoldenEye Setup Editor and a 3D program for the map geometry.
How cold is it in the artic?

Pardon the idiot newbie comment but how are people making new levels? How do you play them?
With the GoldenEye Setup Editor and some other programs for 3D modeling. It's a lengthy process. There's a tutorial on how to install them in the description.
To give you a feeling of how I made Arctic:
I used:
- Goldeneye Setup Editor (for level design)
- Sketchup (for basic geometry)
- Blender (for vertex paint)
- Notepad (for textures
2:19 turns into facility bathrooms
This game is very hard to play now. It’s like push left to move left....30 seconds later....you move left.
There's no delay on movement, if you're playing it on a real N64 and a new HDTV, then that's the issue as they have insane input delay.

Nice custom level and all, but let’s recognize that the reason you got the drop on all those clowns is that you designed the level yourself. Let’s see that level of skill on a level where you have no idea where the bad guys will be.
