@gusomajic awww mate you've been a massive help, I always find time trials a bit daunting but these tips have helped a bunch. Will say this though, I caved during the Odin trail and put the dodge ring on hahaha 1st time I've used it all game

Just put timely strikes and evasion, if you want to finish this stage only.
I created this to help people if they didn’t want to equip the timely rings as well :)
Struggled to get a rhythm with this trail before, started each phase as you suggested and cleared it on my first try.
Had 2:37 going into the final fight and missed with the first Flames of the Rebirth, thought I blew it but managed it with 15 seconds left on the clock.

It seems like there is less time on ng+ I had no issues on my normal playtrough but the time ends on the third waves
Yeah I agree, it feels much quicker. The Hyperion Shift combo is a massive time saver
I cannot for the life of me achieve a shift combo. I use Phoenix shift and attack 4 times but the screen only says "++combo" and I get no time added. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Update in case anyone else has the same issue- you need to press the first attack WHILE shifting, not after! No wonder I was having such a hard time with this trial!!!! Anyway, this guide was great!! Thank you for the step-by-step!

Is there a difference between final fantasy mode and normal mode is it harder on final fantasy mode?
